Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Jul 21 → 1.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cute, fun little mystery game! Fun, intuitive gameplay with really cute character design and a charming art style. The storytelling is lighthearted and engaging, and I really enjoyed uncovering the mystery as I played. The puzzles feel satisfying without being overly difficult, so it’s a really easy game to pick up and get into. Overall, a really cosy and entertaining game with lots of personality. 🦆👻
Genuinely a fun game! My ex actually introduced me to this series and I love it! I hope we see more of the Duck Detective in future!

전편에 이어 재미있게 플레이했습니다! 프레디는 조금 불쌍...
Fun, short game. Good for an evening's worth of play.
a pretty short little game, but still with plenty of heart and character. i found this one a bit more straightforward than the first game, and i'm sad we didn't get a proper resolution for the mini sideline plot (they have a loooot to catch up on and figure out), but it was enjoyable nonetheless. having freddy as a sidekick was delightful! never forget to quack fr
Cute, easy, fun puzzle game with great voice acting and art.
Well, I solved this in 2 hours, and paid more than 5 Euros on sale for it. So even on sale it wasn't exactly great value for money. The game swamps you with information, lots of it useless or at best helpful as keywords for its "describe the situation" ad lib puzzles. Of course you have to piece them together, so that's the game part. The art is cute, no doubt, the characters interesting, the humor that hides in the game fun. Just don't expect something very deep.
Funny, out-of-pocket, and silly characters. Great story and intriguing mystery, the only con about the game franchise is that both games are short. Makes you want to keep finding reasons to keep investigating. 8/10
If you liked the first game, just know that, for better or for worse, this is more of the same. I’d say there are slight improvements, like a more interesting area to explore and a much better hint system, but there are also slight downgrades, like a more confusing plot (there are multiple mysteries happening simultaneously, but none are obviously made to seem more important than the others, so you don’t really know what you’re really supposed to be investigating until deep in the game), and a lot of intrigue that ultimately doesn’t really go anywhere. You’ll have to play the first game to figure out why you have an annoying alligator velcroed to your side. I would much rather be able to work alone. Other than that, I have the exact same qualms with this that I had for the first game: 1. It’s too short. 2. There is no real satisfactory payoff for solving anything. The characters are a tiny bit better developed than in the first game, but there still isn’t enough time to get emotionally invested in any of them or the story itself. And this time around, I didn’t even feel like I was helping anyone by figuring anything out until about halfway through the game. I just felt like a big snoop for no apparent reason. And though new areas do open up when you solve certain puzzles this time, the new areas aren’t really enough of a payoff by themselves (also how is it okay for me to be stealing everyone’s codes and keys and breaking in everywhere if I have no obvious reason to do so and NO ONE HAS HIRED ME?). Yes, I understand I am playing as a Duck Detective and certain ideas of logic shouldn’t really apply here, but it was a bit much for me to suspend my disbelief. And just like the last game, the whole thing was over before it ever really felt like it got started. If you liked the first game and you’re okay with playing something this short and sweet, by all means, get this on sale. I’d just rather spend my bread somewhere else.
I thought the second game will get better and it did not. The artstyle, voice acting and overall gameplay is great, but the writing and story was not for me. I did not cared for the plot, nothing felt surprising or particularly funny and I finished the game simply because its not that long. (Yet it felt way longer than 2 hours...) It was recommended to me because I loved the Frog Detective and sadly it did not delivered the same fun experience. :(
