I really like how the game ramps up and the style changes each level. Building my deck makes each battle more exciting! Right when you think you got the hang of it, the game surprises you! It keeps you on your toes! Definitely recommend it!
I am not very familiar with RPG card games but this was fun and easy to pick up. Also, it reminds me of old school RPGs played on CRT TVs.
Battle mechanics and deck building loop are fun and addictive. I played on normal with a wizard. Overall I was pleased to see my deck developing into a monster that could crush the final boss without any damage taken. Could have probably beaten the game with the hardest difficulty, unless it's significantly harder. I died only once in a battle against a regular enemy, after having lost most of my health to a trap. Additionally, I died to a hidden enemy which caught me off guard. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try that battle again after loading. Some of my experience with the difficulty level could be attributed to the wizard class which seems pretty powerful given that the spell combos can do a lot of damage even if I don't win the trick. The damage can be obscene if a combo lands together with other bonuses. One suggestion to fix: There should be some kind of option for speedier movement across the map.

As someone who is not an avid gamer, I appreciate how approachable Dual Eclipse has been! The tutorials, demos, and live streams have all been incredibly helpful and I was able to quickly grasp the game play. I love how this game offers a little something for everyone and is an artful blend of exploration, story telling, puzzle solving, and of course deck building. I really enjoyed the medieval aesthetic, retro graphics, and the variety of enemies to fight against. Looking forward to playing more soon and continuing to improve my deck and unravel the story's mystery!
Oldschool vibe with trick taking (if you've ever played games like that) - but with fantasy thrown in. Really fun
The combat gets addicting! Fun game that's well done.
Wow! So fun and creative. Quick and cute game!
Small yet solid game. Card system holds up well enough for the scope of the experience, the handcrafted maps and scenery punch well above their weight, and overall I'm satisfied with time and money spent for the experience. First playthrough took about three hours, though there are three classes to try.
Super fun. I loved the combat and exploration. There’s a simple introduction to the combat mechanics but as you crawl your way through the world, you see the layers and layers added on top. This is bolstered by exploration that is sprinkled with lore and genuine surprises around its corners. Highly recommend.
Such a fun and interesting game! I haven’t played many games like it.
