There are several upgrades that are a well-formulated system, but they lose their importance due to the status of the drone, you don't need to worry about the weight or speed. The combat AI is bad, they will practically never see you, the combat lacks emotion, both in terms of gameplay and the soundtrack. The phases are very simple, but they escalate over time. The game is in early access and all these problems are easy to solve in the future.
