[h2]A fairly short - but sweet - Yume Nikki fan game[/h2] Actually has an ending unlike a lot which get dropped by the developer, it's got it's issues, like you very often keep going through on one-way trips to an area you've already been, which is pretty annoying, and makes finding new areas annoying, and the walk to the nexus doors is a bit long, even with the shoes, but still, not a bad game. If you're into yume nikki I'd suggest give it a try, and if you're into this and have never played yume nikki, absolutely give yume nikki a try, both this game and yume nikki are free, so what have you got to lose either way? You can find a guide for both if you get to a point you're sick of looking around for whatever you need, but both are best experienced at least at first by just wandering around and finding things. This game is fairly short by comparison, but I found it pretty charming, the "effects" could perhaps do with a better menu, maybe a wheel so you can see what you're scrolling to, and things like the closet feel like they could do with more fleshing out, I thought maybe there were going to be different outfits, but if not then it feels really weird to just be able to look in there and not interact with it at all, like why can I look in their and not the fridge? Or get a close up of the bookcase? Small gripes, but still, every game has it's flaws and I think it's important to highlight them in a review, even a review which is in favour of the game, give this a try, it's pretty good, it's not earth shattering, but there's not much to lose, it's a short experience as I've said, this is certainly more about the atmosphere, a sort of cosy vibe, and while it can be a tiny bit frustrating, it's still enjoyable overall, so give it a try.

Clearly inspired by a certain RPGMaker title, but without that game's aesthetic power or... character walking speed. It's a bit of a boring drag, with maps too big for its locations.
