A tedious, witless waste of 20 minutes, by and for self-indulgent lovies. Mr Pugh is a one hit wonder, who evidently exhausted his writing talents quite some time ago. I can only assume those who claim that they got a laugh out of this are in need of an urgent visit to an MRI ward.
It's okay. It feels like a demo, really. It seems like the creators of this game asked themselves "can we make something that we've already made before and make it appeal to fans of The Stanley Parable?" I recommend it with caveats, but another "game" where the game tries to play you is not really needed. Where this differs from Stanley is that it's basically a scavenger hunt with an annoying voice actor in Simon Amstell. Overall, it's not bad, it's free, but if you pursue the achievements, understand that by tabbing out of the game, you basically disable them. If you do a second run without ever closing out the game and starting over, you disable them. The only way to make achievements pop is to play through in one single run. I do actually appreciate this because it makes it harder to get all the coins and pretzels. It's worth your time if you liked games like The Stanley Parable and need another copycat experience. The plus side is this is actually made by William Pugh so it's not like you can really plagiarize yourself, right?
