Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.83/day in the week to Jul 21 → 5.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Down with the Ship is a strategic auto‑battler about assembling your own hull, stuffing it with powerful hardware, and sending it to war against other players.
Connect hull pieces to expand your ship and make room for modules. Each round offers a new set of parts: guns, reactors, shields, cursed relics, and more. Buy what fits, lock what you need, and learn when a cheap common beats a flashy rare.
Positioning is the core of the game. Move parts around to manage resources, connect item effects, and stack bonuses. Build something reliable, or commit to one risky combo and hope it fires first.
Battles play out automatically, but you decide when your ship is ready to fight. Your current build is matched against stored ships from other players. Win, adapt, and keep going until your run breaks apart.
Each captain changes how you play, with different hull shapes, passives, and build paths. Lean into their faction’s tools, or mix in parts from other factions to make something less predictable.

Ranked Versus: Face player-made ships and push for 10 wins before your lives are spent. Climb the leaderboard with every successful run.
Casual Versus: Test builds against player-made ships without worrying about rank.
Endless Run: Hit 10 wins? Keep going until your ship loses 5 lives.

If you're a fan of auto battlers or inventory management this game is a hidden gem. The setting is great, the style is gritty and reminiscent of the late 90s to early 2000's Sci-Fi, there's lots of pilots that are unique and cool, and the items are varied and can be used to create lots of different builds. There's both solo and a 2v2 game mode - with it's own unique items and synergies for duos - 10 and 20 Win runs, as well as Endless if you really feel unkillable, and more cool updates like the "Star Map" planned. No doubt there will be more in the future with the way the Devs have been updating this game. I tend to prefer auto battlers with less of the "Backpack Battles" style inventory management but for some reason it makes more sense and clicks easier in this game. There's a bit of a learning curve but it's not that steep, IMO. Once you start to get it, it all starts to make sense and the ideas transfer fairly well between the different pilots. It doesn't feel as easy to get lost in the amount of effects and items, even when your inventory size gets larger and larger, like it does in some other games in the inventory management category. As someone who had reservations about the inventory style, I find it difficult to step away from this game. Right now, it has a cult following but surely it's fan base will increase. The discord is filled with people who care deeply about the game and those looking to learn, teach, and improve it. Also, if you're a content creator I think this a great ground-floor game in the Auto Battler scene to jump in to and the game would only benefit from more of an online presence. If you even think you'd enjoy this game, I'd recommend trying it, especially for the price. I see this game only going up from where it is.
I have not played much of this but so far I love it. It is similar to backpack battles but deeper and with some crazy broken builds. Really enjoying it and I hope they continue to work on it. Strong recommend
Fun twist with a solid theme for an idle battler.
Excellent game. Endless variety, quick runs, solid competition, and very silly voice lines. Highly recommend.

Really Very fun, I got it to play something while watching my K-Dramas,... Im not watching my dramas, keep having to rewind. Its addicting.
Fanta
its a fun backpackbattle style game with a nice sci-fi feel to it and many different styles of play
