Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.83/day in the week to Jul 21 → 5.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Down with the Ship is a strategic auto‑battler about assembling your own hull, stuffing it with powerful hardware, and sending it to war against other players.
Connect hull pieces to expand your ship and make room for modules. Each round offers a new set of parts: guns, reactors, shields, cursed relics, and more. Buy what fits, lock what you need, and learn when a cheap common beats a flashy rare.
Positioning is the core of the game. Move parts around to manage resources, connect item effects, and stack bonuses. Build something reliable, or commit to one risky combo and hope it fires first.
Battles play out automatically, but you decide when your ship is ready to fight. Your current build is matched against stored ships from other players. Win, adapt, and keep going until your run breaks apart.
Each captain changes how you play, with different hull shapes, passives, and build paths. Lean into their faction’s tools, or mix in parts from other factions to make something less predictable.

Ranked Versus: Face player-made ships and push for 10 wins before your lives are spent. Climb the leaderboard with every successful run.
Casual Versus: Test builds against player-made ships without worrying about rank.
Endless Run: Hit 10 wins? Keep going until your ship loses 5 lives.

fun!
Consistent non-cartoon visual style. Frantic battles that don't waste time. No cards whatsoever. All the staples of scifi spaceshippery. Lasers, guns, missiles, cannons, tesla, fire, rad, acid, freezers etc. Theres quite a variety of builds, they are pushing a lot of patches currently. 2v2 just released. Overall very solid autobattler that hits just right in the aestetics for me.
This is fun, lots of good combos and a great sense of style. Get it and play! (If you want to win do ACID builds they trump everything. I hope they can tune it a little.)
Очень рекомендую как Бек пак Бетлз только с кораблями они постарались игра выглдяит и играеться прикольно
Other reviews say you're screwed if you don't get perfect RNG early in a run, and I call that a "Skill Issue". Yes, you can get screwed by particularly BAD RNG, but a flexible player can get 7-8 runs out of just about anything. For the game itself, the gameplay loop is immensely satisfying. Occasional visual bugs when I play on steam deck, but very few of these or any other bugs or performance issues and almost always they are solvable with the in-game settings. I don't know how sweaty or stale-meta high ranks get, I only got in halfway through last season, but up through all gold ranks there's tons of variety in both enemy builds and your own. If you like games with too many things to perfectly keep track of at once, so there's always more to learn, it's an amazingly fun time.
Feeling like blasting the enemy into pieces? Big explosions? Fire? Acid? Rust? This is such a great game! Don't look at this and think that takes no skill. It does. Brain skill. The depth here is amazing, the fighting is gritty and fast. Constant bug fixes, improvements, changes, and additions really have added to this one over the past months! Some times multiple updates in one day. Worth having!
