Coop und Multiplayer interessieren mich nicht. Zu stressig. Warte auf die letzten 3 Episoden. warte... warte... warte... Wie viele Jahre muss ich noch warten. Scheiß Early Access.

Coop Spaß ist garantiert.
Good but not enough. Make it 16 hrs at least.
After playing it again I've changed my review to positive, it's a shame the game seems abandoned (though there are still rumors in 2025 that episode 2 is still in development) because it's a pretty good if basic Quake clone (Quake II to be specific), there's just not that much here. It needs more meat on those bloody bones. Movement is fast and aiming is tight, though there's no crouch nor is there any kind of boost/blast/kick jump, and the game could really use it. It's just simple arenas, nothing fancy, with the typical light puzzle solving and secret areas and lots of chumps to blast. It's nothing special, but I'm still hoping there's more, it's fun enough if you like the style.
I'm just a casual player looking to have fun shooting cool guns but this game seems to be more on the challenging side, its just not fun cause you keep dying and failing dying and failing having to do the levels over and over again hoping you can magically dodge attacks. The game does have potential tho I hope with more updates it can get more fun but at its current state I do not recommend.
DarkPlaces pushed to the limit
This is a solid old school FPS game which wears its inspiration on it's sleeve. Unfortunately it is only one episode so far, but what is done, is very good. Here's hoping, the game gets continued development as what is there now is really quire solid.
Incredibly fun take on Quake 3 movement and mechanics with some great additions from other games (ramp-jumps in particular are a blast, and I really enjoy the knockback of weapons which seems Q1-inspired). Multiplayer is probably my fave aspect and you can find duels on the discord.
