the children yearn for neutral. so refreshing to play in the age of drive rush and heat.
Phenomenal true 2D fighting game. The depth and nuance is incredible. Each character is a whole, contained archetype in and of itself. If you're making an indie fighting game, this is how it should feel and play like. Let's see what else. The training system puts Harada to shame, what with the amount of customization, recording options, frame/input data etc. Just get it if you're a 3rd Strike fan.

amazing fighting game imagine footsies, karate champ (mainly visually), and street fighter 3 mixed together its relatively easy to pick up, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its got a high skill ceiling also it has a sword using midranger (im a biased ky player) 10/10
Dojo Masters is a little hard to pin down, genre-wise. It has a lot of DNA from simple fighting games like Footsies and Divekick, but it's ultimately much more successful in its execution. Each fighter is extremely simple, with only two buttons and two directions to press. Despite this, the simple controls are mutated in a way that lets each fighter feel vastly different, and raises the skill expression to a very fun level. The health system, too, feels very well-considered. Stamina sticks down as you're hit, and if you're knocked down at zero stamina, your opponent wins the match. However, if you don't fall, they don't win. This leads to some very good moments where you pull out a last-second offense and melt your opponent's stamina to win against the odds. All in all, if you want a fighting game that's easy to learn with some good tutorials, but plenty of deep skill expression, you can't pick a better one than Dojo masters.
this game is awesome and new player friendly
The game feels really smooth to play, very good netcode and great soundtrack aswell. Has more depth than it may seem at first, very impressive how each character feels so different than the others and how it reflects their martial art gameplay wise, incredible work. Pd: The dlc is totally worth it, sumo, and kokyushin are amongst the most fun styles in the game (haven't really tried capo tho)
Super fun and simple fighting game. Obviously it doesn't have as much depth as smth like street fighter or guilty gear, but if ur a new fighting game player and want to get eased into the genre, or ur an avid fighting game player with a friend who u wanna indoctrinate then this is a great game for that
Very fun fighting game with unique rules. Simple to learn but with a bunch of characters and mechanics there is lots to dig into. Fully featured but streamlined!
Game runs so poorly on the steam deck, which is a computer. I don't give one ♥♥♥♥ about what the devs have to say about how they didn't have any intention of making the game available on the deck. The deck is a PC, and this (steam) is a PC game platform. The truth is that this game is incredibly poorly optimized for responsive screen design. Virtua Fighter REVO just got steam deck certified. This little bitty game can do it too.
