A classic for very, very good reason.
Still great as ever.
There's a lot it does well, but if you don't enjoy stealth games, this game still likely wont change your mind

Dishonored is an immersive sim of the highest calibre and, along with its sequel and Prey, Arkane has gifted us more than we deserve. While you can technically play either stealthily or go in guns blazing, the game does reward you for playing stealthily, as opposed to most other immersive sims. So personally I consider this to be a stealth immersive sim, which it pulls off phenomenally, even though it isn't only that strictly speaking. Must play for both stealth and immersive sim fans.
Dishonored must be one of my favourite immersive sims of all time and still holds up incredibly well. The level design is fantastic, and I love how much freedom the game gives you to approach each mission however you want, whether you want to sneak around, kill everyone, or just cause complete chaos with your abilities. The world is also incredibly atmospheric, and exploring Dunwall and uncovering its story was a big part of what made the game so memorable for me. The combination of great level design, satisfying abilities, and the sheer amount of freedom you're given makes Dishonored an absolute classic.
