Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.83/day in the week to Aug 5 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Okay so I JUST got to chapter 2 and I had to stop and write a review. This game requires strategy/planning. It's so fun! Fun characters and a fun story. Okay going back to playing in addicted.
Cute story, funny characters, quirky town!

I really enjoyed Discounty! I love that you actually get to experience the drama happening around town and somehow end up becoming part of it. The townspeople feel like actual people with their own relationships, problems, and opinions, rather than just NPCs waiting for you to show up and magically fix everything. I especially liked the initial hostility toward expanding the store. In most games like this, you arrive in town and everyone is immediately like, “OMG, thank you, mysterious stranger, for saving our local economy!” Discounty is more like: “This stranger came here and is destroying our heritage.” And I lowkey like that. It makes the story progression feel much more meaningful because you actually have to get to know people and earn their trust before you can push the store further into town. It’s a small thing, but it makes the world feel much more believable than the usual “everyone loves the player immediately” trope. The gameplay loop itself is also really satisfying. I liked managing my own shop, keeping track of inventory, deciding what to stock, organizing everything, and gradually expanding the business. There’s something weirdly satisfying about watching the store grow from a tiny shop into a proper supermarket. My biggest gripe is that there isn’t a whole lot to do once you finish the story and unlock all the items available for sale. I really wish there was more of an endgame gameplay loop, like more reasons to keep expanding the store, additional challenges, or even just more town events and things to work toward.
Nice sim game, that while it has a simple routine, it doesn't feel repetitive. It could have some quality of life additions for the trade contracts you made, like being able to buy online with an upgrade, but still, the free dlc added a lot of content and playtime.
Running the store is fun and there is a main story about choosing people of the town vs. expanding your store.
Girlfriend has been playing this game for 6 hours straight. She's very fussy about games, so, it must be good.
