10/10 fun, wish it still had a full player base.
_____________8__88_____8 ____________88_8__8_____8 ___________888_____88___88888 __________8888______88_8____88 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______8_______8 _________8888_____8_______8 __________88888____8______8 ___________8888888______8 __888_________88888_8 8888888________88_____ _8888888_______8_____ __888888_______88_____ ___88_____8_____8_____ ____8______8____8_____8_88 _______8888_8__88_8_88888 _____888888_8_88__8888888 ____8888888__88______88888 ____88888_____8_________888 ____88_________8__________8 _____8_________8_____ _______________8_____ ____________8_8_____ _____________88_8_____ ______________88_____ ______________8_____

I miss this game so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much man it hurts
There are 3 servers online with players. 2 are full totalling 26 people. two other servers have 2 people each....dead game.
Let's bring it back. nows your chance, cs is poopy, val is for the ♥♥♥♥♥. I was a playtester for this game, loved it, never knew why it died. This game deserves more players than rainbow six siege.
Love this game haven't played till 2016 but played it all the time a shooter gone too soon
Loved this unique team-based shooter back in its day, but it hasn’t aged all that well due to a lack of significant updates, such as new maps or mercenaries. Most players use the same mercenaries, but that also has to do with there only being 1–2 active servers these days. The introduction of custom servers was a good addition, but aside from that, the game feels kind of dead. It is what it is.
I never reviewed this game while it was in its heyday, but I just recently discovered that there one or two servers still up so I felt late is better than never. Strengths: - Great direction with a strong theme - No ridiculous skins and easily identifiable character silhouettes - taking notes from TF2 - Distinct cast of characters with unique playstyles. Proxy, Fletcher, Sparks, Phantom, etc.. all have extremely distinct playstyles that one can dump hundreds of hours into mastering. - Intuitive gunplay with some very unique options - Easily approachable movement system - Time to kill is in a great spot - Skill expression is strong, but abilities and big match size keep strong players from dominating games by themselves and ruining the enjoyment of others. - Great map design, generally - Best revive mechanic in any FPS full stop - Great competitive scene outside of the in game ranked, but even the in-game system was fun and fleshed out Weaknesses - Cards, cards, cards. Loadout cards were and are the worst aspect of this game. This game would've benefitted from a pivot to weapon skins for microtransactions rather than loadout cards. It was a unique idea, but in practice this alienated many players since the grind to get a single card felt like nearly 10 hours with no guarantee of it being any good. - Vassili in public games probably made hundreds of players rage quit and never load back up - Some character abilities don't alter the way you play the game enough to feel distinct or compelling (Nader, Arty, Skyhammer, Stoker) - Having to unlock some of the more unique/fun characters really puts a damper on the new player experience. Many jump in as Skyhammer and never played the game long enough to realize how in-depth the game is. - Some maps like Terminal or the 2nd point on Trainyard can feel terrible to push. - Lingering hit boxes on the ground like molotovs, sky lasers, etc... can make last minute clutches impossible and suck some joy out of the game This game stands out to me as one of the greatest FPS games in the last couple decades, although it probably bottoms the list in terms of its commercial success, which is deeply frustrating to me. This is and was a complete game, well directed, well designed, and it had the depth that players who invest thousands of hours into games are looking for. I think some missteps in the direction of monetization and progression are what ultimately alienated a lot of new players. I recommend downloading it and playing some public games with what's left of the community to just have some fun now and again. If you're new, try Fragger and thank me later.
Pure enjoyment; I discovered that many games have copied its concept, Unfortunately, there aren't many active players anymore; you rarely see a nearly full server.
DIRTY BOMB is a schnitty crap game which throws you into a PVP mode to complete missions against people who are seasoned players with superior skills, better weapons, and likely using cheats & exploits. If you just started & became kinda exited by the training mods the game throws at you in the beginning & at the main menu. You can flush that excitement right down the toilet because once you try to actually play, you're going to be pitted against Asian hackers with names in foreign writing you can't read, kicking doesn't work, you've no time to pick your team as while you're trying to change mercs the timer runs out & starts the game whether you like it or not! Bummer. My friend & I are always on the lookout for something we can play together that doesn't suck, or that we've grown bored with! I had high hopes for this at first but I tried to play the first mission several times, & kept getting fisted up my anus by experienced player who seemed very sweaty & cheaty etc. F KAY THIS GAY'M RIGHT UP THE POOPER! UNINSTALLED GOOD DAY SIR
