I got this after buying a sim racing rig which I played Assetto Corsa, Beam NG, and Forza Horizon 5 on it first. THIS IS THE BEST, NO CONTEST. Single most exhilarating game I've EVER played. PROS: YOU CAN USE H-PATTERN SHIFTERS WITH CLUTCH. Graphics are good on a monitor, very good in VR. Driving dynamics/physics are excellent and realistic- some say it's "just a bit arcade-y" but if you watch real rally runs and compare it really isn't. The force feedback on my Moza R5 is superb. Decent selection of courses and the variable surfaces are highly realistic. Decent car selection, though I've fallen in love with the Lancia Delta HF Integrale and care little for the others now. Great sense of speed, great sound. CONS: They're ending online club support now. Wish there was more to the career complexity and car customization. If you want a game that LITERALLY gets the adrenaline pumping, play this on a sim rig. Even better with VR. The better you get, the more intense it is... and you can get a LOT better. I've been playing driving games my whole life and recently started sim racing with a rig, after 2 weeks I thought I had a great lap time of 8:23 just FLYING through on my favorite course (Time trial, Monte Carlo - Pra d'Alart using the Delta HF). 2 weeks later I got better at drift turns and was down to 7:54. Current fastest lap is 7:41, and when you're doing that with force feedback in VR it is absolutely INSANE... and I still have a lot of room to improve. If you made it this far, just buy the game. Seriously. Even with more modern titles out, this is still THE ONE.
