Directive Nine is a VR FPS Roguelite in a sci fi setting. "How is the Galactic Federation ever going to expand with these pesky settlers in the Outer Reaches? Get out there and deal with it for us. You know what I mean. You know. It's... I'm talking about destroying them. Like, dead dead."

Really good start for a game. Early access easily excuses the limited amount of content and the gameplay is solid if unpolished. Works without any issues on linux through proton.
Warning: Somehow the game is not being developed anymore and the Developer appears to not give any kind of message since April. The game was great and it was evolving with features ! But somehow on the last update is unplayable now for me, because you have no pointer to even select to start the game. I managed to start it anyway by luck and reached a level where an invisible wall blocks me and the enemies on the other side so basically there is not even a game to play. So I do not like to post a bad review because the game was really fun when it worked, but right now this is an alert to avoid doing discovering this dissapointment and refund. If I see an update on the game will change this review.

Could become a hell of a VR Rogue-Like. Pretty solid release build, if you don't forget that it's early access. With a little polish here and there and some more content it could outrun popular games like In Death.
Such an absolute BLAST .. I was addicted to this game after my first run .. The art style is awesome,The fast pace keeps you going, Here is my video review, INSIDE VR @Martin76x https://youtu.be/Ng2Wh7jq_mw
This is a fun rogue-like with a sci-fi setting. It's nice to be out of the dungeons for a change! The gameplay is straightforward - select your loadout and make your way through through a randomly generated map, killing anyone you meet. Enemies drop ammo and credits that can be used to buy upgrades and perks. You can also use the credits to buy new weapons, etc. in between missions. As the game is still in early access I expect improvements and more features added over time. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops. I'm playing with WMR (O+) and the controls worked fine out of the box.
Written By Hidden Gems Review : https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38624426/
Directive Nine it's a VR Roguelike FPS. I think it's my 1st roguelike fps i'm playing in VR and I have to say I really enjoy it. The graphics are really simple, nearly polygons but the gameplay is solid and fun, even if the roguelike it's also basic aswell. You have to clear floor from enemies and you can unlock new mods on your weapon like in my video I unlock the fire elemental and ricochet bullets, also you can spend your money in new weapons or effects like have a missile in your shoulder shoting targets. I seen some minor bugs but still it's a great game. You can see my Gameplay here : https://youtu.be/zUPAHxKM3q8
this game is very fun! the only small issues i have are snap turning: i hate snap lol, the other is my pistol has a problem reloading sometimes. it is well worth the cost! (side note: plz add the ability to stick the turret to the roof and walls plz)
Great fun, GOOD CHALLENGE the developer said that they will be updating weekly. I like the unlocks and weapons/ability upgrading system! Looking froward to more content soon! Here is my first play-through: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0cfzhdSsAo Great job so far!
This game has massive potential just needs some polishing. Please fix turning will reloading.
Very good for what it is, lacking in some areas, but that can easily be fixed with new content in future updates. A very solid base and easily worth the $10 in it's current state, can't wait to see what the future holds for this title!
