Dinky Guardians

It's a really nice and cute game. CodeMonkey, thank you for releasing it. It's not perfect, but definately fun and enjoyable. The most annoying minus for me so far - the game is supposed to be played with a gamepad. I lack highlighting and interacting with the objects with a mouse. Also, physics... At the same time it manages to be very fun but also frustrating sometimes

I intended to play this for an hour and ended up 3 hours in not knowing what the time was. The systems are engaging and fun to build up. I love the presentation and the whimsical music accompanies it well. Would heartily recommend to anyone for some relaxing game time.

日本語のレビューは初か？ まず、日本語翻訳に関しては「✿頑張りました」か？日本語が余り堪能ではないようで。 多少意味不明でも、心意気で進められる程度には翻訳されている。 概ねプレイ出来るが、細かいバグが散逸する。 いや散逸しているのは帰ってきた惑星のリソースの方か。(笑) マルチで夫と遊んでいるが、ポップな敵、イメージで操作できる等、私は気に入った。 同型のFact◯RI◯を遊んでいるが、あちらはEAから６年近くかけて１万時間以上遊び倒した。 このゲームも現時点をEAと考えれば妥当かもしれない。 しかしV1.12と出ている…製作サイドはこれをV1とするのか？V0ではないのか？ 例えば、「消える」問題がある。汎ゆるもので起きた。 マシーンだったり、リソースアイテムだったり、ロケットだったり…。 結構致命的な部分もあるが、たいていはリロードすると解消するケースが多い。 しないケースもあるが、ロストしたコストを払えば復旧出来る程度なので諦める事で解消はする。 ゲームエンドとなる程の重症なバグは１度あった。 始めると、星が流れる画面に色抜きのキャラが立っている。呆然と立ち尽くす…何も出来ないのだ。 移動は出来るが、見えるのは背景の激しく飛び交う星々のみ。流石にこれは参った。 リロードでも解消しなかったので、最初からやり直して１５分で元通りに。 散逸するアイテム、不足気味なリソース、弱いし怖くないけど、数と粘りが辛い敵襲！と、要素としては足りている。 地底のアイテムを掘削出来る様になればリソース不足は補えるか？安定的にタワーディフェンス出来るだけの状況を作れればおｋ。 一応全ての星を開放するだけの研究はした。(全て研究した…が、まだ未開の星は多い) 今は３番目の星から紫鉱石を輸送する手段を検討中。 また、クラフトマシーンの配置が難しい。 散逸するアイテムのせいだが、素材から製品までの流れを綺麗にするのは？そこがこのゲームを面白くしている要素かな。 ２番目の星迄で、唯一操作方法で悩んだのはリソースランチャー。 星間輸送機なのだが、使い方は分かれば単純だがなかなかに手間取った。 個人的には良いと思うが、まだ荒削り。もう少し精査してほしい。 特に選択と中断が同じキーにアサインされているのはどうか？ また、何でもＥキーは難しい操作を要求される事があるので、この辺も良い方法を思案してほしい。 飽く迄もコントローラ風インターフェースです。 キーボードだと操作が面倒くさい。ジョイスティックをつなぐとグッと楽。 キーボード用にキーコンフィグレーションできればキーボードでもある程度良くなるか？ 今はここまで。また次々と星を巡れたら書くかも。

I really enjoy the concept, and the game play is pretty fun. It can get pretty cluttered, and something to organize placement of objects, and better storage options would be nice.

I played it since the first version of the demo and its come a long way in such a short time. Very fun concept and nice visuals and animations!

Just arrived second plant. Feels bad. My machine stops working when too much stuff around. I really don‘t like this mechanism. It forces production and mining to separate away or my machine won't work. But the first chest must be near the base？I don‘t understand. It makes people build more chests near the base, more machines near the chests. After 10 min, all machines stopped working because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ too much stuff around. It will be your first time knowing that because there is no hint about it. Or there is, just buried in that LONG guide book. No one will hide this crucial mechanism in there. Even I know that after 20 min, unable to skip the intro adds more frustration. Lacking of the list of Dinkies just makes it worse. Dinkies are cute though. The guidebook looks good with all kinds of links and stuff. We can see lots of effort and creativity put into this game, just needs more tweaks.
