I love digging/mining and incremental games and this game ticked all the boxes for me... cute, good tutorial, basic yet pleasing aesthetics, desire to play "just one more level " and a tiny bit of mystery.
⣿⣿⠿⢿⠿⢿⣿⣿⣿⠿⢛⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ ⣿⣇⠄⠠⠄⢀⡿⠏⣁⣢⡶⠄⢿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠿⠿⠛⣛⠙⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣆⣄⣰⠎⣠⡾⣯⢷⣟⡃⢌⣉⣉⡉⢍⣉⣤⡾⣞⡿⡯⡆⢺⣿ ⣿⣿⣿⡿⢁⣼⢿⢽⢯⣟⢲⢸⢼⣯⠣⡪⣞⣯⢷⣻⡽⣯⣟⡇⣼⣿ ⣿⣿⠿⢣⡾⡏⢟⣯⢿⡽⣦⢿⣽⢾⣼⣺⣻⣞⣯⢷⣟⣷⡻⠄⣿⣿ ⣿⣧⢺⣺⣽⠤⠠⠘⢻⣽⢿⣿⣿⣿⣾⣗⡿⠺⠙⠻⣺⣞⡇⢰⣿⣿ ⣿⠋⣼⣳⣇⣨⣤⢶⣿⣿⣬⣯⣝⣫⣿⣥⡀⡈⠰⣶⣟⣾⡻⠄⣻⣿ ⣿⡂⡻⡚⡡⠑⠄⠌⠉⠻⠟⠋⢉⠉⠍⡙⢻⢶⡴⣗⣟⡾⣶⣄⢻⣿ ⣿⣷⠩⢈⣄⡈⠄⠂⠁⠄⠂⠈⠄⢄⣂⡈⠢⠹⣝⣯⢷⢿⡕⢡⣾⣿ ⣿⣿⢰⣿⣿⣷⠁⠪⠂⢀⠈⠄⡁⣿⣿⣿⣷⣦⣕⠮⣹⢹⢲⠈⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⢸⣿⣿⣿⠄⠈⠄⠄⠄⡄⠄⢻⣽⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣮⣌⠰⣾⣿⣿ ⣿⣿⣄⢻⡽⠆⢄⠄⠄⠄⠐⠘⠈⠄⠳⣻⢿⣿⣿⣟⣷⣻⣳⣌⢻⣿

Kind of short but not super short, got 100% after roughly 2 hours. 100% a game I'd highly recommend to any incremental fan. It contains prestige but you build it up extremely fast (for those that dislike slow prestige systems)
Nice and short with a good progression speed. I think a sign of an enjoyable incremental involves digging/filling holes and having little guys. This game has both and I had a good time.
Short Review
Digseum is a brilliant little game that is very enjoyable while also valuing your time. The digging and excavation loop is genuinely fun, the incremental progression is satisfying, and I loved basically every second of it. It never gets boring, scales really well for its short runtime, and never once felt like it was padding itself out just for the sake of it. Highly recommended!
Full Review
Digseum has you traveling the world digging up ancient relics and hauling them back to build out your own museum, upgrading your tools and abilities along the way to dig deeper and faster. This is more incremental than idle. You can accumulate some resources in the background, sure, but you'll almost always be doing the main digging minigame yourself, so there's never really any real downtime where you're just sitting around waiting. The gameplay and progression. The digging and excavation itself was really fun, and the incremental nature on top of it was very satisfying and enjoyable. Progression was great throughout. I was engaged the whole time, never felt like I was grinding, and the game rewarded me for using prestige often rather than punishing me for it. It was a blast all around, and I loved every second of it. This also reminded me a lot of the excavation minigames from games I grew up with, like Fossil Fighters' dinosaur fossil digging, Spectrobes' fossil revitalization, and the Sinnoh Underground from Pokemon Platinum, so there's a nostalgic charm here on top of everything else. The scaling and pacing. This never gets boring and scales really well for the length it's going for. I'm more of a fan of incremental games that have a clear idea, a clear end goal, and don't artificially stretch themselves out to hundreds upon hundreds of hours just to pad their playtime numbers, and Digseum nails that. It respects your time instead of trying to hold you at gunpoint for hours like other incremental games out there. The art and music. The graphics are pretty good, and every location you dig through feels interesting in its own right rather than just being a reskin of the last one. The music is chill and gives the whole game a good vibe that fits the relaxed, meditative pace of digging through various locations. Overall, Digseum is a brilliant little game that values your time just as much as it entertains you. Between the satisfying digging loop, the great progression and prestige system, the chill music, and the nostalgic pull toward childhood excavation games, this one was an easy blast from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend giving this game a try!
If you liked this review, then feel free to check out my YouTube Channel for more reviews. All I can say about this game is? SOUNDTRACK! I love it, so chill, great vibes, and the retro pixel art gives it a Gnorp Analogue/Magic Archery feel to it, I love it! Progression was great, I was engaged the whole time, never felt too grindy, game rewarded you for using prestige often, and was a blast all around. I loved every second! This is a fantastic incremental idler, the museum theme is great, levelling up relics to keep the money coming in was a great mechanic! Definitely pick this one up!
Digseum
This game was short but so so fun I will be playing it for the second time. Also just buy it.
Great incremental game that scratched the right itch for me. I love mining for fossils. No idea why. The little dude on the screen was really funny, too. The prestige system wasn't too frustrating, either. I always worry that it'll get too repetitive, but focusing on increasing prestige tokens made it way less grindy. Finished? Yes Steam Achievements? Easy Steam Deck? Great, can also mine with your hands on touch screen (my toddler helped!) Rating? 8/10 My curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45865425-CozyAriGames/ Full videos on Youtube
really cool game but it should've been much longer, theres definitely a lot more potential here for different maps, upgrades and other mechanics BUT nonetheless the game is still good and worth buying
