For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I am dumb i do not understand how to play: damage to adjacent or only in line ? tutorial not clear. not for me.
Dice Assassin is a compact turn-based strategy title that blends board-game logic, card-driven actions, and the inherent unpredictability of dice into a tightly focused tactical experience. Developed and published by Afil Games, the game presents itself as a series of small but demanding combat puzzles, where success depends on how well players can adapt their plans to chance while maintaining precise positioning on a grid-based battlefield. Rather than offering sprawling maps or long narrative arcs, it concentrates on moment-to-moment decision-making, making every turn feel deliberate and consequential. At the heart of the gameplay is a system that revolves around automatic dice rolls at the start of each turn. These rolls determine the numerical values that influence movement ranges, attack power, or how certain action cards can be used. Instead of allowing players full control over their options, Dice Assassin forces them to work within the constraints provided by chance. This creates a constant tension between planning and improvisation, as players must evaluate the board state and decide how best to convert imperfect rolls into effective actions. The dice never feel purely decorative; they are the core driver of uncertainty that shapes every encounter. Actions themselves are executed through cards, each representing a specific maneuver such as striking, dashing, repositioning, or pushing enemies. Choosing which card to play is just as important as deciding where to move, because the grid-based layout means spacing and angles matter greatly. Enemies occupy fixed positions, and careless movement can quickly leave the player exposed or boxed in. As a result, battles often feel like logical puzzles, where the solution is hidden within the interaction between dice values, card effects, and the geometry of the board. Progression introduces additional layers through skill cards and deck-building choices. Over time, players gain access to new abilities that modify or enhance their actions, allowing for different tactical approaches. Some cards emphasize aggressive play, while others reward careful positioning or defensive maneuvers. Deciding which cards to include becomes a meaningful part of preparation, as synergy between abilities can dramatically alter how encounters unfold. While the overall card pool is not enormous, the combinations encourage experimentation and give players a sense of ownership over their preferred playstyle. Difficulty in Dice Assassin is shaped less by raw enemy power and more by the player’s ability to adapt. Encounters can be unforgiving if a turn is misplayed, especially when an unlucky dice roll limits available options. This reliance on randomness can be divisive: for some players, it adds excitement and replayability, while for others it can feel punishing when a carefully considered strategy is undermined by chance. However, the game generally provides enough tools to mitigate bad luck, rewarding players who think flexibly rather than committing too rigidly to a single plan. Visually, the game adopts a clean and minimalist presentation that prioritizes readability over flair. Characters, tiles, and UI elements are clearly defined, making it easy to assess the board state at a glance. Animations are simple but functional, reinforcing actions without slowing down the pace of play. Sound design is similarly understated, providing feedback for actions without drawing attention away from tactical considerations. This restrained aesthetic suits the game’s design philosophy, keeping the focus squarely on strategy. The structure of the game makes it well suited for short, focused sessions. Battles are concise, and the turn-based format allows players to step away and return without losing momentum. There is no multiplayer component, and the experience is entirely single-player, reinforcing its identity as a self-contained tactical puzzle game rather than a competitive strategy title. Replayability comes from experimenting with different card setups and learning how to better manage randomness rather than from large-scale procedural variation. Ultimately, Dice Assassin is a niche strategy game that appeals most to players who enjoy deliberate, puzzle-like combat and are comfortable navigating systems shaped by probability. It does not attempt to overwhelm with content or presentation, instead offering a focused experience built around thoughtful decision-making under uncertainty. While its reliance on dice rolls may frustrate those seeking full control, players who appreciate the balance between planning and adaptation will find a rewarding tactical challenge that values clever positioning, smart card usage, and flexible thinking above all else.
