its tough to really decide whether i prefer this game to human revolution.. while some aspects are somewhat improved, there are also some pretty unusual setbacks. for starters, i found the hacking to be significantly worse. the overall gameplay of it is the same, and the additions are neat, but the interface is a pain to navigate for the sake of making it 3d. the simpler 2d interface in human revolution was more intuitive in my eyes. having to wasd navigate also sucks, let me click and drag man. the sprinting has been made more confusing than anything, since, to my knowledge, the game doesnt tell you how long youre able to sprint for, nor how quickly it recharges. as hilarious as human revolutions 2 second long sprint was, at least it was clear. visually, the environments are a *lot* more detailed, even if that comes with a bit of clutter in certain areas. character models are vastly improved too. performance is also solid across the board, assuming you are NOT playing with directx 12, since this somehow causes *significant* performance issues (specs attached to show this is not just a hardware issue) back to gameplay, a lot of the new augmentations just seem sorta... useless? the remote hacking is the only one i ever used and was INCREDIBLY useful. similar to human revolution, there was a point where i just stopped unlocking them as they fell into one of three categories: pointless, situational to the point i would never use it, or taking the fun out of the game (stealth augmentations usually fall under this category). i also never once used the "crafting parts" system -- weapon upgrades felt completely pointless because i just never really used lethal weapons at all, i think i had like 300+ regular combat rifle *and* 300+ pistol ammo at the end (while writing this the credits finished and i saw the "pacifist" achievement pop, which i suppose confirms that). meanwhile the items were also pointless as i was constantly stocked up on multitools and biocells in the world and the rest i believe were ammo packs for augmentations i chose not to get. if you were to actually use the typhoon youd probably get more use out of it, but being more stealth focused i chose not to get it. moving between cover in stealth took a surprising amount of getting used to compared to human revolution, but having gotten to it i find its a definite improvement. the quest markers were actually worse in this game for me personally -- in human revolution, turning them off would still leave them on the minimap, which i would use to orient myself and get a vague direction to go in. in mankind divided, turning them off *also* removes them from the minimap, so i had no real choice but to leave them fully on, which was a little disappointing. though they are implemented much better here, as you only get one at a time floating and you manually pick the objective it tracks -- a little clunky, but far better than having 5 markers for a single quest active at once. the story was fine, but i did feel it ended a little... suddenly? i dunno. i do not care for breach. the similar section in the main game was far more interesting, even if a bit basic, because it was essentially straight out of a puzzle game. breach does away with what made it interesting with time limits and combat. played through the first couple networks and got bored with it. also i miss pritchard.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I absolutely LOOOOOVE this game and this franchise and this one specifically hits all the boxes!
Coming straight from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, this game feels like a 2000s game with a "modern" aesthetic from current AAA development. Thankfully, it's only like 5$ but I don't really like this game. - The camera movement is constant and unbearable, usually I can tolerate or even enjoy camera movement but this is insanity. Every time you jump the camera shakes violently. Every time you vault an object, the camera swings down like 30-45 degrees to look at your hands and then snaps back up. Mosst interactable objects (books, containers, etc) have a bug where the camera snaps to the default FOV and slowly returns to the FOV I set. - Sprinting has an unavoidable delay when ending, that also results in an equally unavoidable animation where the camera jerks up and down. - I guess there must be a permanent film grain filter because this game has so much visual noise. - The UI is almost entirely composed of monochrome boxes, corporatized shapes and vector icons. I won't argue and say that DXHR had a perfect interface, but it was functional and had a fairly unique gold techy look to it, and everything was great. DXMD takes all of that good, throws it out of the window, and replaces it with generic minimalist corporate interfaces with animations that last longer than the heat death of the universe. Every time I open a container I'm locked in place for at least 1-2 seconds for a giant console style item wheel to cover my entire screen, just to take all from a single container. Most of the other UIs have similar issues of overdone animations or transitions that make it so sluggish to navigate through. - Jensen's face looks pretty weird now, for whatever reason. Like his design was always a little eccentric, but he fits better in DXHR where everyone looks like they're from a 2013 game. In DXMD, it feels like the developers wanted to go all-in on realistic faces but then couldn't change Jensen's design too much, so they just made everyone look twice as realistic and gave Jensen realistic textures but left his weird proportions. The facial animations are also terrible, like I get that it's difficult to animate faces correctly but it's really terrible, everyone has a realistic face with terrible stiff animations. - There's a bunch of useless and overpriced microtransactions for in-game items. Alongside the terrible cosmetic packs that give you maybe 1-2 models/textures and some items. Most of which can be found in troves through normal gameplay because shockingly this isn't a hardcore survival game where every shot counts. Also these are all single-use consumables that disappear when you use them on any save.
Sigma male breaking and entering simulator with cyberpunk story elements. Graphics could definitely be optimized for a 10 year old game though.
He never asked for this.

MY RATING: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 10 / 10

Game version: latest PRO: + Cyberpunk excellence + combines classic Cyberpunk with stealth + great for fans of "Cyberpunk 2077" - no other game comes this close + very good main story + good to amazing side quests + gameplay freedom (stealth to chaos, non-lethal to deadly, multi-path missions) + big augmentation variety and a huge amount of abilities (aka skilltree) + deep franchise lore + Prague with a great open world (not the biggest level, but very vertical) + almost every apartment can be entered + tons of loot and hidden secrets + a huge variety of points of interests + one small ~45-60min. DLC sidequest (Jensens stories - "Desperate Measures") -> good + one ~2-3h expansion (Jensens stories - "System Rift") -> AMAZING + one ~4-5h expansion (Jensens stories - "A Criminal Past") -> very good + all that makes it very, very easy replayable + absolute easy buy and a steal for fans of the genre (like me) CONTRA: - gunplay / combat mechanics are a bit clunky compared to modern AAA productions - main story still not on the same level as in "Human Revolution" (the overall package is superior, though) SUMMARY: A wonderful declaration of love to the Cyberpunk genre. EIdos Montreal absolutely delivered here. I would love to see another "Deus Ex" game. If you like "Cyberpunk 2077" (especially "Phantom Liberty"), if you love the combination of Cyberpunk with stealthy secret-agent alike gameplay, you will love this. Almost every main- and side-quest offers at least 2 different paths. Sometimes your actions, sometimes your findings, sometimes your conversations with NPCs have an impact on the story and it's outcome. The game def. never fails to surprise in a positive way.
