Deeply weird game with incredible vibes and a well thought out control scheme that's pretty unique. Unsure how much meat there is to the game but from the first hour, I'm enraptured.
Buzzwords incoming: Metroidbrania meets Dungeon Crawler This game is a first person dungeon crawler in which you explore a complex maze like structure. There are multiple levels and you jump through them via elevators, portals and "other" methods. The game explains nothing and I strongly recommend a pen and some paper to note somethings down. The atmosphere is kinda scary. At first it didn't get me at all but after some runs and trying to get places fast, it became way scarier. One level especially makes me "tap out" if a certain enemy makes itself known. One more big thing. When you die, you start the game from the beginning. The "meta" progression here isn't unlocking skills like in a rogue-lite, what you unlock is knowledge and secrets that let you perform better next time or use "shorcuts"

the style of this game certainly is unique, but the substance seemingly isn't. i didn't complete the game so i'm sure there's a bunch of cool stuff i missed out on, but there'd have to be a large and sudden shift in the game for my opinion to meaningfully change. unfortunately, i cannot reasonably expect the game to become more than what has been shown.
