Great and bold concept! Well executed and very unnerving.

cool
Really neat dungeon crawler that feels like a weird love child between Killer7, Outer Wilds, and Yume Nikki. Had my eye on this one since the demo came out and I really enjoy what it came out to. For the 10 dollar asking price it's well worth the time. The game wraps layers of secrets over each other that makes it really fun to unwrap more and more with each run. Everything is a knowledge check on a short timer. There's nothing quite as clever as Outer Wilds on that front but it feels pretty great to start completely clueless and eventually working your way up to having a specific plan for every single run. The game takes advantage of some of the best parts of survival horror's resource management by making improvement and optimization a part of the normal gameplay loop. What little story does exist is kind of disappointing for how obscure it is to even reach but the bizarre visual spectacle makes up for it. Thankfully you spend most of your time exploring the latter than the former, and the dungeon does really have an interesting layout, and you will learn things that completely recontextualize how you go through the whole thing. It's very neat and well put together.
An amazing, atmospheric dungeon crawler-y puzzle game in the design spirit of OuterWilds - as in, every run has a (very generous) time limit and the only thing you keep between them is knowledge. It's all about discovering secrets and building a map of the world in your head. I definitely recommend taking notes! Once you've figured it all out, your last run can easily be completed in a few minutes, but to get there is a journey. Everything is done via a mouse click interface, including combat, so movement is tank controls with a lack of mouse look, in true old timey dungeon crawler fashion. It's fairly sluggish and takes a bit of getting used to, but thankfully all combat encounters can be avoided by just running away or being careful and enemies never became so numerous as to get in the way of the puzzle fun. Overall, I had a blast with this, utterly loved the vibes and found it just right in terms of brain tickling difficulty.
Pretty dang rad. The interface and controls remind me a bit of Doom, but the game itself is more about exploration the world and discovering the rules. Interesting, cool, somber. Great play.
Conheci esse jogo pelo canal do Jogabilidade. (Valeu, Sushi!) É ótimo sentir essa tensão cheia de curiosidade que o DEMON DUST traz. As limitações impostas de propósito me ganharam desde o primeiro momento, o reloading manual do revolver é demais.
Short and sweet! Vibes are great!
