About
Our deep-level mining operations have gone dark. Deep Rock Galactic needs them back online at any cost. We’re sending in a crack squad of Reclaimers to breach and secure the mines, and kill whatever’s down there.
Your survival is not necessary for the success of this mission.
Step into the boots of the Reclaimers, Deep Rock Galactic’s elite corporate security force. In fast-paced 1-4 player co-op gameplay, you’ll fight through alien-infested mines as five playable classes:
GUARDIAN: The walking shield. An expert in area denial and close protection. Damages enemies with concussive blasts, and restores the team’s armor.
FALCONER: The aerial attacker. Deploys an airborne assault drone to electrify enemies. In an emergency, can even revive teammates from afar.
RETCON: The hologram berserker. Can warp back to a previous point in spacetime, restoring health and ammo to recover from dangerous situations. Lethal in all time zones.
SPOTTER: The marksman. Highlights and weakens targets with toxin darts, spots enemies through walls, and can deploy ammo crates for use in extended firefights.
SLICER: The melee expert. Carries an energy blade capable of dismembering all but the toughest opponents. Mobile, agile, aggressive.
No two runs are the same. The roguelike format means you’ll scavenge your weapons and equipment from within the mines, and collect resources to upgrade your gear and abilities. Choose from a deep pool of upgrades for your weapons and abilities, discovering lethal synergies and snowballing in power as you fight your way down to the Rift Gate.
Linger too long, and the Reaperworms will hear you. Explore each level of the mine for upgrades, equipment and resources — but remember that each stop costs precious time. Stick with your team, move quickly, and push forward at all costs.
Nobody said this would be easy. But death is only a setback. Dive, dig, die, and dive again.
Procedurally-generated caves mean every single mission gives a unique challenge of traversal and exploration. Featuring 100% destructible terrain, you can dig, carve and explode the caves around you to level the playing field. Fight your way deeper through natural caverns and enormous industrial structures.
These mines are infested with Corespawn: the most aggressive, resilient and intelligent alien life we’ve ever encountered on Hoxxes IV. 20+ different enemy types and 3 different bosses are lying in wait. Use whatever means necessary to eliminate them.
Between missions, you’ll find yourself aboard the RV-09 Ramrod. Here, you and your squad can access rich metaprogression and extensive character customization to bring into your next deployment. Lift weights, braid your beard, hit the dance floor, and have a beer with your team.

basically its standard deep rock galactic except its only a long 4 part 40-60 minute deep dive mission with an additional boss at the end but its a rogue lite with mid game perks and upgrades and theres mutant core spawn creatures instead of alien bugs. it has made some decent progress since the alpha playtests earlier this year and now its in early access but it feels like they still dont know what exactly they are gonna do to expand upon the base idea or just do next with it. I mean its fine to play but for the current price, lack of content or polish and tons of bugs its not in any way worth it unless you care about it and trust ghostship games to cook. you can go play the main game in the mean time or something
Needs a lot of work and way better progression

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A roguelike, combat-focused spinoff of the DRG formula that works pretty well and it's a lot of fun. Currently Rogue Core is in Early Access, this review was made after Update 02. I have spent quite a bit in the game and so far I'm loving it, the gameplay loop and combat are satisfying and the classes are very fun to play with. Visually it looks great and I love the entire vibe this game has with the more linear caves full of DRG structures and facilities.Additionally, recent updates have started making biomes look more "corrupted", which really adds to the entire corespawn situation. And as usual, paired with a FANTASTIC soundtrack that's full of bangers. There's a great amount of weapons and upgrades to choose from during a run, so you always have something different every time. The "permanent" progression needs a bit of work though, bio-booster decks are great overall (but would love more intricate customization), while the enhancements need more work due to most of them not being that impactful. Run options are plentyful difficulty-wise thanks to the now-implemented threat level (aka DRG's hazard) which works great so far. This paired with the assault pace option, it let's you tweak things to your liking. Also now that depth is solely for progression, it let's you choose any gatekeeper and allow more mission combinations to appear. Same goes for modifiers, more have been recently added and they're a nice way of mixing up things every now and then (just needs more combinations instead of the currently locked ones). Not related to gameplay and very low on any priorities list, but I hope they rework the way of obtaining cosmetics because the current method of cosmetic crates is downright terrible. That aside, the game is shaping up nicely and I'm looking forward to the upcoming updates. I personally have been enjoying it since release and I'm pretty happy with the updates and seeing the feedback being addressed. Game needs work of course, but I think so far it's heading to a good direction and I trust that GSG will do great. I'll say that the price tag is one of the big "negatives" of this game before you actually play it. It's quite steep for an Early Access game but for me it has been worth the price. I would still recommend giving it a shot whenever it's on sale and make your own judgement.
i loved Deep Rock Galactic but rogue core is just totally missing the mark for me. It feels like you spend most of your time running to somewhere and selecting lame upgrades. There is not nearly enough mining and bugs. I'm very disappointed. I just want DRG 2.
This game was ok at launch. But recently it is just not fun to play. Between the time constraint, no ammo, and difficulty it's just ridiculous. You run out of ammo so fast and are swarmed with enemies forcing you to run in circles waiting for skills to go off cooldown. While you're doing that the clock is ticking, and when you run out of time you are stuck against an endless swarm. This isn't even a Roguelite. You get permanent loadouts unlocked that never improve after a certain point. So there's no account progression at all to get you past the difficulty. I'm done with this game, don't buy it.
Even as someone who loves roguelikes, and have put hundreds of hours into games like risk of rain, and dead cells it just is not nearly as fun as the original, so far the devs have failed to listen to player feedback and have developed an insanely punishing game that is just not rewarding to play.
♥♥♥♥♥ sucks
I think my main Issue is Armor versus shields DRG Armored Core Kills you too fast, the way it was in DRG, where shields would take Fall damage and enemy damage and then recover if you stopped being Stupid was just better. TLDR DRG is to good?!?! support that instead? sorry devs the game is likely more then just massively reducing the players survivability compared to DRG, but that is the thing making it unplayable to me.
