It's run or die in a killer car infested city. Dash from dumpster to park bench and don’t make a wrong move. Ice cream trucks, snowplows and dodgy vans all want you dead. Decimate Drive, an indie game, is terrifyingly fast-paced and drenched in atmospheric horror.

About
Run from cover to cover. Constantly use your environment to your advantage as you go from wide-open parking lots to claustrophobic alleys.
Each enemy is deadly in its own way. Unwieldy trucks charge straight for you while unassuming sedans quietly sneak up on you. Survive long enough to find out how you ended up in a killer car infested city. Decimate Drive, set in a desolate city in the cold north of the United States, features a dark surreal story-line.

Story mode featuring a dark surreal story line
Additional Backroads story mode featuring a new setting and new killer cars
Additional Hit & Run arcade mode
Fast-paced frantic gameplay
New game plus, collectibles and killer car gallery
15+ killer cars and 25+ desolate locations

The additional (short) story mode Backroads is set in a remote backcountry where killer cars rely on heavy for to remain unseen. It features six new locations and six new killer cars.
Go for a new high score while being chased by killer cars. All the while you have to stop the timer from running out. And deal with random buffs and debuffs. It's fast paced, unpredictable and chaotic.
For now there are no new content updates planned for Decimate Drive.

Id say a good sale purchase as the length is a little short havent done new game plus but the story and side story are done and it was only about a hour and a half so bit to much at full price but at a good deep sale its worth it for the couple of hours of fun
Getting run down by unique cars is frenetic and fun. More tense than scary, so the 'horror' of this game is on the lower side. Worth the cost of admission.
Gameplay is solid and artstyle/vibe is also good. But the lore is so lame compared to what I expected it to be. A solid game, but not for the price, you can still easily get 5+ hours out of it if you like how the gameplay is. But if you are interested in the horror or lore elements of the game, don't buy it. An apocalypse where machines were possessed by vengeful angels, like the first level alluded to, is significantly more interesting than the generic vague nonsense. Its not clear what is happening at all as other people seemed to be trapped in whatever situation the player is in. But the focus on the kidnapping/frank situation, the nonsensical objectives, and the backroads levels take away from the idea that it is a literal apocalypse. I think if the game had more focus on paranormal elements or even just had even more vague lore to keep it mysterious, it would have been an improvement. The game is also not scary, lore was so bad and unrelated it took away from how unnerving the games premise is. Cars moving on their own trying to kill you is scary, but since you are focused on the seemingly unrelated story it takes away from the horror of the situation. If they focused on making the cars like all of what humans made turned against us, the story would have added instead of taking away from the horror.
