Deceit 2 is an online social deduction horror game. Inspire fear as the Infected, investigate as the Innocent, or create mayhem as the Cursed. Trapped with friends and strangers: who can you trust to help you escape?
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About

Deceit 2 is the online action PvP experience where your capacity for trust and deception are put to the test. Join an ancient Ritual run by a twisted Game Master, claim your Role and work out how you can Escape. Do you have the skills to work out who’s with you and who’s against you?

Three Teams go head-to-head; the Innocent, Infected and Cursed. However, nobody knows who is on their team and therefore: trust no one. Team up when it suits you, lie when it doesn't, and survive however you can. Every decision shapes how the nightmare unfolds, making every Ritual a unique story to tell.

The Ritual plays out across 5 unique locations, each steeped in atmosphere and danger. Each Ritual Site offers distinct layouts, challenging Tasks, and ultimately requires varied strategy if you're wanting to Escape before being Banished.

Around the Ritual Site you'll find Tasks which the Innocent must complete in order to Escape. The completion of these Tasks also unlock Items for the group at the Shop. Choose from Investigative, Offensive and Defensive tools which multiply the chaos, making each visit back to the Shop highly impactful.

Climb the Ranks and prove your dominance in competitive play. You'll be rewarded in your skills by unlocking exclusive rewards. Rise through Seasonal Leaderboards and challenge the strongest opponents to become a true Master of Deceit.

Participate as 1 of 9 Subjects trapped within the Ritual. Find your favourite, collect unlocks for them through Level Ups and customise their look inside the Collection.

The game seems decent and looks alright but it's not really that good once you load into a real game and its just a bunch of people walking around. Everything also seems to happen way to fast. DON'T GET THIS GAME (unless you have an entire group of friends to play with)
felt like i'm in a warzone, its a fine game but better with friends
даже не страшно

the ♥♥♥♥ the game does not tell me how the ♥♥♥♥ to play and just confuses me and make me feel nothing and confuses
Almost dropped this game initially but I'm glad that I didn't. Deceit 2 is a mix of Among us and Dead by Daylight in the best way possible. In deceit 2, your thrust into a match totaling 9 players and must use deductive reasoning to rule out who's evil, and who's innocent. Or if your evil then deceive the crowd and hunt. You win if all opposing teams are dead or if one innocent escapes the trial, the innocent win. There's two phases. First is called "Reality Phase" where people do various tasks which is like mini-games to progress towards winning, and vote out suspected evil members very similar to Among us. This is where the Innocents shine. Second is called "In-between Phase" where everyone is thrust into the mist and the Infected transform and hunt everyone else like rabid dogs until either the timer runs out or one person is killed. Hide or run, you'll need both to survive. This second portion is reminiscent of Dead by Daylight.
Pro's
What deceit really does well in is the progress of the game as it flows naturally. Pieces of equipment feel impactful. Your rewarded for smart deductions and efficient use of equipment's and deception. You can also win on mechanical skill and it feels rewarding when you make good plays and the moments where the killer plays the lobby like a flute are memorable. It does a fantastic job of blending qualities of deduction/mini-games/chase that are seen in popular games like Among us, or Dead by Daylight.
Cons's
As mentioned before, I almost dropped this game. When your new it feels overly complex when your looking to play a guess the killer. Among us didn't quite vibe with me because it was too simplistic, while Deceit 2 felt too complicated at the start. There's not any hand holding. The trailer helps a little bit, but it leaves out many details on how to play. For example….. What equipment is most important and why? Why is insanity important? Why do I sometimes die when I'm caught once? How are people determining who's who and what is considered suspicious behavior? Second con is the playerbase. Since this game is free to play, you get what all that entails. You'll get screaming kids so loud it sounds like your next to a jet turbine. You'll get groups of trolls who go around trying to banish people because they think it's "funny". You'll get toxic people from other countries who can hardly speak english who get a kick out doing anything but their role. I'm a white male, but I shudder to think how the community would treat woman, or minorities. In some ways, this adds an element of chaos that makes things interesting because you'll never know what kind of match you'll get. Could get into a lobby of strangers in a old-western style standoff suspicious of everyone, or a well-coordinated group strangers, or a bunch of screaming toddlers who think this game is a COD Deathmatch.
Summary
Overall I would rate this game as a B. It deserves more credit than it gets and is incredibly fun once you get into a good match. I would pick this game if Among us was too simple for you, but you still want to play a hidden killer game. This is my new "hidden killer" game if I'm ever wanting to scratch that itch. However both the toxic player base, and the introduction to newer players needs to be addressed and holds this game back.
