DECAYED is an open-world, post-apocalyptic survival game set across the ruins of Phoenix, Arizona and the surrounding Sonoran Desert.

You are a Green Beret whose routine search and rescue operation spirals into the first hours of total societal collapse. What begins as a quiet assignment becomes a fight to survive as the infected tear through the city, and the world you knew disappears in a matter of hours.

Explore our take of the Southwest: fight your way through the crumbling streets and high-rises of Phoenix, scavenge small towns and outposts scattered across the desert, and roam through rugged forest terrain as you push toward the edges of what's left of civilization. Each environment brings its own dangers, resources, and stories — from crowded urban chaos to the eerie silence of the open desert.

Explore the world with absolute freedom. Stay in the city and loot buildings, homes, or bases for powerful items, or stay secluded in a forest, with the decreased abundance of threats. There are zero restrictions by missions or NPC's. You are your own commander now.

FORTIFY AND CRAFT

Fortify your post by building structures, crafting lethal tools, or utilizing firepower to defend yourself or fight with. You have more than just the dead to worry about.

DYNAMIC SEASONS

Experience the hardships of changing weather and seasons, from freezing temperatures and scarce amounts of food in the winter, to a warm summer evening, with a higher abundance of the dead roaming the streets. You must adapt to these changes to survive.
