Hidden gem imo. The 80's asthetics and music are fantastic. I love the vibe that it gives off. The simulations are great too with the in-depth police response and how people react, like how they panic in crowds or barricading themselves inside a building. Im looking forward to what this game has to offer in the future. I do have a suggestion though. What if there were hospitals? I like to imagine that infected or injured people will attempt to make their way to a hospital, making it somewhat of an hotspot. Or, conversely, hospitals offer refuge for civilians and are considered important buildings to protect.
Every dead body that is not exterminated gets up and kills. The people it kills get up and kill. A very outstanding simulation of a zombie apocalypse that is very reactive and fun to watch. The police go from beat cops gunning down the odd zombie or symptomatic civilian to the opening of Dawn of the Dead, kicking down doors and storming zombie infested apartment blocks as they slowly lose ground to the ever-growing deadite hordes, doing their best to clean up bodies and get civilians to safety. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose, sometimes a sort of equilibrium forms with the cops storming infected buildings while other infections slowly grow across town, it's rather unpredictable which is perfect for what the sim sets out to achieve. Of course, it's not perfect. There are no supplies, survivors are a bit homebound, the interactivity between the living and eachother, along with the world, is a definite work in progress, but as a baseline? It's great fun to play with. I'd love to see survivors go on food raids, fighting for ammo and barricade supplies, raiding the police station and fighting the military a bit more actively, especially when they're on KOS mode. An incredibly responsive dev who seems committed to improving and refining his simulation, and the baseline sim you recieve for the very reasonable price of fifteen bucks canadian is a great bargain. Absolute recommendation for people who enjoy story generation games like Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress, can't wait to see what's in store!

it's a neat zombie apocalypse sim made by a small indie dev, where you can adjust all the variables of the virus to see how that affects the simulation, and even call in professional military to see how they handle it if the civilians and police can't.
this game is fantastic, my review will say nothing the ones beside mine already do. I think that the game is a wonderful simulation and a beautiful attempt to fill that niche that ZoS left behind. I refunded simply due to the limited content currently in the game and my later plan to re-purchase the product some updates down
I wouldn't say it's the most engaging game, you're mostly just watching a city full of humans and zombies. That said, it is a very compelling simulation that's very entertaining to watch as the two sides react to each other. With the potential for massive maps and tens of thousands of simulated units, even in the game's early access state I think it's well worth the asking price. It looks great, the music is good, it runs well in my experience so far, there are tons of options, and overall I think it's a great sandbox that deserves more attention. I have no complaints.
Peak simulation game never stop updating this game pls

Very nice game, good machanics and overall very good. like how i can create my our buildings but it does get a little boring after awhile, i say it is realistic zombie outbreak game
I'm seeing great progress so far. I hope the dev keeps going. I'm not sure if the price can be justified with the product presented just yet but the dev regularly updates their game!
Love the game, the developer still updates things consistently. New content every couple months most. Things have become VERY optimized! The game runs smoothly, much more smoothly than when it first came out. I'm not fully aware on the dev interaction with the community, I would like to believe he interacts quite frequently? It runs like an actual simulation, no scoreboard, no points, no expensive powers, no winning or losing. There is Zombie AI, Human AI, Cop AI, and Military AI, its a pure, simulation. its perfect and I hope it only keeps improving.
