Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 12 → 0.17/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I bought this game since I like the weirdness of Deadly Premonition and it delivered. This game had an issue where spamming buttons wouldn't let me pick up items, setting my monitors refresh rate to 60HZ fixed this, this game must be played at 60hz, trust me. The fan patch improves the graphics immensely, though has its own flaws, a link below. https://github.com/SuiMachine/Deadly-Premonition-2---Sui-s-hack/releases/tag/2.1.0 This also helps fix the button popups if your brain mixes up Switch inputs with Xbox ones like mine does. You can look up a video online if details are needed. So finally the game review, the dialogue is oddly long, this felt intentional but threw me for a loop. The game has mechanics that felt unnecessary, it feels that they tried to add scale to the game by adding mechanics, such as the focus meter introduced in the tutorial, then the voodoo idols to increase stats or the side quests, I skipped all side quests except the one to fix the shower (gotta stay clean). Never used a single idol, and never used the focus meter other than for curiosity when I remembered it existed. The side quests are completely unnecessary, I see why they would add them, but I'd be more interested in ways to interact with the main story. As for the story... I would just ride through it, I didn't really pay attention, but some characters were interesting, like P.J. Clarkson, his dialogue was fine, his character a little interesting. I feel this game wanted to deliver only the main story, and I feel that's all I wanted, at least for this game. The bosses go down fast and hard, besides the end. Ran out of ammo so I had to go fist to fist in the final fight, I found this funny, considering the context of the situation. The part I enjoy the most in this game is the interaction between Zac/York. I don't feel every character needs to be nutty, just the main character is enough, normal characters interacting with a nutty detective is beyond interesting to me. I liked the first game better, but this game was still enjoyable for me, even with the flaws where else will I find such an odd interesting game? I hope they make Deadly Premonition 3 one day, with a focus on the story and small oddities. I just seem to like these games, even with the flaws.
Starts off a little slow but after the first Otherworld section the plot really gets going, and the final episode of the game is absolutley amazing. While I'd still consider the original Deadly Premonition for the 360 to be the superior game, Deadly Premonition 2 surpassed my expectations plot-wise and ended up being just as enjoyable as the original in the second half of the game.
Uggg. I have to struggle on both to get them working. If you are willing to get it working and you love going down the rabbit hole, this is a great series. But I will be honest. If you don't want to outright pirate. I suggest you just buy it here then use a high seas copy or just get it on Ebay. Disc still work and Cheaper then on Steam while on sale..... Ya, despite the hype, Steam has made videogames more expensive for the price hunters by removing used copies. Way to go gamer collective. Now I am seeing games stay at day 1 prices forever, lowing price for a only for a sale (and mathematically made to milk the market) and broken ports (at least 1 case of a port just being a version the owners stole from pirates, lol) like this are the norm. Clap for your service. Its going to get worst in the years coming. Ya, the fact I am using steam reviews to be an old man yelling at the group-think shows I need to stop playing games. The hobby has moved on past me.
