One zombie is a problem. Fifteen is a natural disaster. A top-down survival horror set in a small 1980s town: work the case on your detective board, scavenge, sneak, and shoot when there is nothing left to try. Twin Peaks and The X-Files, not Left 4 Dead.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
DayOff is a top-down survival horror with a detective at the center of it.
You play Officer John Smith, and his job hasn't actually changed: there is still a case to work.
Who Roger Black was. What Moonlight Corp was running outside of town. And why the old farmer's UFO call turned out to be true in the worst possible way.
Seen from above like Hotline Miami, paced like an 80s conspiracy thriller. The references are Twin Peaks and The X-Files, not Left 4 Dead.
One zombie is a problem you solve. Fifteen is a natural disaster you run from.
Work the case on your detective board: pin the clues, connect them, open the next lead.
Barricade doors, break windows, throw things. Get in where there is no door.
Ammo runs out. The flashlight, the dark and the shape of a room are weapons too.
Drive across town and decide where to go next: the station, the gas stop, the hospital, the Pink Racoon hotel, the sewers under Chinatown, the Moonlight lab.
Hand-drawn high-resolution art and an original dark synth soundtrack.

Imagine Hotline Miami mixed with Darkwood but with zombies!. I've been waiting on this game for years and boy was i not disappointed. Guns cars and door kicking fun with a mix of being able to sneak around. But my all around favorite you can use stuff to barricade so zombies can't get to you and you're able to shoot over it like you could in reality! Great comic book cutscenes and lots of laughs along the way!
Really enjoyed the game. Love the comic-book visual style and the fun references to pop culture and IT/dev life. The atmosphere is great, and the soundtrack is absolutely amazing. The only downside for me was the camera during driving, it felt a bit uncomfortable. Overall, a very stylish and enjoyable experience.

Un petit jeux bien sympathique
If David Lynch and John Carpenter had decided to create a video game together, it would have resembled "Moonriver." This is not just a game — it's an atmospheric collage of the most unsettling and mesmerizing images from '80s and '90s pop culture, wrapped in the setting of a hand-drawn 2D world. And yes, you can and should shoot here. This game is for those who value atmosphere over polish, appreciate when the world reacts to their actions (often with irreversible consequences), and feel nostalgia for that strange, inexplicable magic that defined the cult series and films of a bygone era.
pretty good game overall! Music is awesome (9/10) Gameplay is simple but smooth (8/10) Story so far is solid (8/10) Artwork is pretty good too (8/10) Motorcycle doesn't work it seems (I can interact but can't ride) Baseball bat and knife durability is a little too low This game was made by 3 people I guess - impressive! Well done game, but I'm a little sad it doesn't have that much popularity... with that being said: Maybe focus on publishing the game more widely so it gets the recognition it deserves.
An interesting game) There are a lot of references to various old movies and TV series, like the police academy or Resident Evil. Driving a car is a bit difficult, but you can get used to it. Some more cars quickly break down from collisions with zombies. If you drive from top to bottom, you can confuse right and left. It's a thrill to play a stealth fist game. The plot is interesting, like a double plot embedding. It's not what it seems. For such a twist, I like it. I love it. The controls are simple, like in The Wildeight. Zombies are not difficult, but if resources are at a minimum, it becomes more difficult to survive. The atmosphere is pleasant, the city is big, I also liked the graphics, but there is not always something to do among the many houses. It's like in real life: there are a lot of buildings in the city, but you just don't have to go in there. I think it's better to move along the plot. In general, I recommend it, the game is relaxing. It has its own nice vibe.
Интересная, забавная игра. Что-то типа Твин Пикса, Секретных материалов и еще чего-то)) Мне нравятся такие сюжеты, когда все вертится вокруг какой-то небольшой локации, городка и т.д.
Being a huge "Stranger Things" fan, this totally worked for me. I had just rewatched the whole series before the last season dropped, and the vibe matches perfectly. Highly recommend.
Поиграл пол часика и это блин было очень весело! Игра сырая как котенок под дожем - но вайб словил я что надо от атмосферы происходящего!
We spent a long time making this game in our free time. And I'd love for you to play it. It's a mix of genres, not just a top-down shooter. It has dialogue, a story, puzzles, quests, and investigation. We tried really hard to create something interesting and unusual, but whether we succeeded is up to you to decide =)
