Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.29/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.5/day in the week to Jul 16 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dating Simulator, developed by piratecat games and published by Cheesecake Dev, is an open-ended life and relationship simulation that attempts to capture the everyday balancing act between career growth, social status, and romantic pursuit. Rather than presenting a tightly scripted visual novel, the game leans toward sandbox-style progression, allowing players to shape their character’s lifestyle while exploring modern dating through app-based matchmaking and in-person encounters. Its design centers on freedom of choice, encouraging players to decide how they spend their time, money, and energy in pursuit of both personal and romantic success. At the beginning of the experience, players create a customizable protagonist and enter a small urban environment filled with interactive locations. Workplaces, shops, restaurants, clubs, and apartments form the backbone of the world, each serving a functional purpose. Jobs generate income, which in turn funds upgrades to clothing, vehicles, housing, and other lifestyle enhancements. These improvements are not purely cosmetic; they subtly influence how potential partners respond to you. This system reflects the game’s core philosophy: self-improvement and dating success are intertwined, and financial stability or personal presentation can open new social opportunities. The dating mechanics revolve around a phone-based system that mirrors contemporary dating apps. Players browse potential matches, initiate conversations, and eventually meet characters in person. Dialogue choices shape relationship development, with certain responses strengthening rapport while others risk awkwardness or rejection. Although the interaction model remains relatively straightforward, it captures the unpredictable rhythm of modern dating—initial introductions, tentative flirtation, and the possibility of either chemistry or disappointment. The game’s tone generally remains light and humorous, treating romantic scenarios with a casual and playful approach. Beyond dating, the life simulation elements add structure to daily gameplay. Managing work schedules, earning promotions, and investing in better possessions become part of a gradual progression loop. The balance between career obligations and social life introduces a subtle time-management dynamic. Spending too much time working may limit social opportunities, while neglecting income can stall character development. This balancing act creates a sense of personal agency, even if the systems themselves remain mechanically simple. Visually, Dating Simulator opts for functional 3D environments and accessible interface design rather than high-end graphical detail. Character models and locations are serviceable but modest in scope, focusing on clarity rather than realism. The user interface prioritizes straightforward navigation between maps, menus, and conversations. While this keeps the experience approachable, the presentation occasionally reveals the project’s indie scale. Some animations and transitions may feel basic, and environmental variety is somewhat limited. Where the game draws mixed reactions is in its depth and execution. The open-ended nature of the simulation allows for flexibility, but it can also lead to repetition. Certain activities—particularly work-related tasks—may begin to feel routine after extended play. Similarly, while the dating conversations are entertaining at first, some players may find the emotional arcs less nuanced compared to more narrative-focused romance titles. The game’s ambition to combine life simulation and dating mechanics is commendable, yet not every system feels fully fleshed out. Technical stability and interface responsiveness can also influence the experience. Minor bugs, occasional awkward camera behavior, or UI scaling challenges may appear depending on platform and configuration. However, these issues typically do not render the game unplayable; rather, they contribute to the sense that Dating Simulator is a passion-driven indie project still refining its identity. Ultimately, Dating Simulator offers a casual and customizable take on modern relationship simulation. Its strength lies in the freedom it grants players to pursue career advancement, personal upgrades, and romantic exploration at their own pace. While it may not deliver the emotional depth of story-heavy visual novels or the mechanical sophistication of complex life sims, it succeeds in presenting an accessible sandbox where everyday ambitions and romantic pursuits intersect. For players who enjoy relaxed progression systems and lighthearted dating scenarios within a contemporary setting, it provides an easygoing and flexible experience that prioritizes choice and lifestyle experimentation over scripted drama. tinderın oyun hali
