Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Update: Early Access Release (last week of June), new direction below:
Data Center Simulator Game: Every System Has a Secret
Step into the racks, the raised floors, and the endless hum of a modern data center. Play your way with full controller and keyboard support. Walk the cold aisles, route the cabling, balance the thermal load, and feel the weight of every decision. From your first server install to a fully orchestrated facility, every watt, every degree, and every cable matters. But the deeper you go, the more you'll sense that something here doesn't quite add up.
DCSG is a hands-on simulation that respects the craft of real infrastructure work, because the developer has done it for two decades across a variety of industries spanning the globe. Provision compute, manage power and cooling, respond to failures, and learn the trade through doing, including the hard lessons. It's built to teach by experience, not by menus. And it's built to keep you wondering what lies beneath the surface.
More than a sim: a world to explore.
DCSG grows beyond the server room. Expect RPG progression, a combat system, unique gear, and discoveries waiting in an unknown world. Some doors open only for those paying attention. Some systems were never meant to be found. The further you push, the more the familiar begins to fall away, revealing something far stranger than a server farm.
A long-term commitment, not a one-and-done release.
DCSG launches into Early Access with a clear roadmap ahead. Two premium DLC expansions are planned. The first is a historical timeline journey through the evolution of computing and data infrastructure. The second is a TOP SECRET project, developed as our thank-you to the community that made this possible, and what it contains will not be spoken of until the moment it arrives. Both will be followed by years of free, feature-rich content updates and expansions, with occasional paid DLC as needed to secure further development efforts on new features and experiences. When you buy in, you're investing in a title designed to grow for the long haul. A dedicated VR experience is also on the way as a separate title, arriving less than six months after launch.
Built on two decades of the real thing.
This isn't a sim made by people guessing at how infrastructure works. DCSG draws on 20 years across enterprise IT, defense, and large-scale systems, translating real operational experience into a game that gets the details right and brings authenticity rarely seen in the genre. Every detail is deliberate. Even the ones that seem out of place.
Whether you're a curious newcomer or someone who's spent a career in the field, the truth of this place won't reveal itself all at once. DCSG is yours to build, to break, to defend, and to conquer. Just remember: every system has a secret, and this one has been keeping its longest.
**Early Access, this title will continue to expand, images are of prototype systems slated for global availability 1 week after Early Access launch. First main data center space will unlock MONDAY 29 June to both early access AND playtest users as a continued thank you to the community.
Playtest minus premium tools and equipment/maps will be available for free to play until July 8th as a thanks to the gaming community for your continued support and encouragement over the last six years of this journey.

The game is no where near ready for sale. There is no introduction and the UI is SO buggy. It's either zoomed in 300% of the UI text size is font 2. You spawn in and get told to head to the workbench, but then nothing when you do. You pick things up with absolutely no clear instructions on how to use said items let alone open your inventory. You shouldn't have been allowed to sell this in its current state. Will be requesting a refund as it's not even worth its sale price. Early access is not an excuse to release bad games, if you can't fix the bugs then don't release. This game is not early access, it's not even close to functional yet. Maybe I'll repurchase in the future.
Um where to start. This is the same prototype build from many many months ago that was available on steam. Do not buy this game it is a cash grab with nothing built inside of it. I played this exact same playtest and could not find a single change. The UIs are all built from somthing out of an asset flip (RPG Character Customization). Elevator has a literal push bar inside of it. The entire lower floor can be walked out of. This is worth 2.50 max in its current state.

Seems like it has very good potential looking forward to the updates
Please do not purchase this game thinking it is ready in any form. All I could figure out to do was to pick up items and spray paint the air. No instructions, no keyboard mapping, controls, howtos, etc... Wait about 1-2 years and revisit. Refund requested.
physics are terrible things just fly away when you get close to them
I rarely leave reviews, but this is just an awful game, feels like a tutorial for a game that's coming out in another 2 years. Not a game that's actively being sold for THIRTY dollars. This game in it's current state is only worth $5 at the most, and that's being generous. I play a lot of indie games and love supporting indie developers but this one just feels like a half-baked scam.
Это прям плохо. Полностью и безоговорочно проигрывает демо Data Center, про полную игру нечего говорить. Конский ценник за сомнительный кусок. Я впервые настолько негодую, что пишу отзыв.
Unable to play at any resolution, with minimal quality settings. Stuck in first room, jumping instead of walking, not able to play it at all.
So, just because I wrote on Discord that I didn’t like the game’s controls, I got banned? :D Okay… that’s enough. I’m requesting a refund. If this is how you handle a Discord comment from someone who paid €30 for your game, then you don’t deserve a single player. Best regards, Ignac
