Darkness and Flame: Missing Memories Collector's Edition

Spiel hat mir viel spass gemacht,gute Mischung aus Story,Minispielen,die gut lösbar sind,und Actionen,sammeln und Logische zusammenhänge gut,Graphik auch okay,was mich aber mal hier und da genervt hat war das einige Actionen schlecht ausführbar waren wegen ungenauigkeiten,und wenn man dann mal einen Tipp in Anspruch nimmt war es doch richtig,das hat mich geärgert,und schade war auch wenn man mal die Lösung in Anspruch nimmt nicht gezeigt wird wie es richtig war....ansonsten zum reduzierten Preis durchaus empfehlenswert ,Schwierigkeitsgrad kann man ja auch wählen

Let's be honest, once you've played one of these "HOG" games, you've played them all... It's always the same, but slightly different... ;-) Still, this one's a solid installation in this genre and fully recommended for the HOG-adventure fans! PS: Some achievements are tedious and might require a game replay.

Darkness and Flame 2: Missing Memories is an average Hidden Object Mystery set in a magic-ridden post-apocalyptic Earth. The main story is centered around rescuing the member of Alice's family seen in the opening of the first game, by restoring the memories of Uncle Colin, who had been the last one to see her before her capture by the Dark Knight. The story isn't the best, but I enjoyed the puzzles this time through. There's a nice tour through areas rebuilt by new settlers, although the geography is odd enough I wouldn't be surprised if there had been a teleport storm moving old Earth landmarks around... The Extra mini-games this time through is another variation on the tangled net puzzle, which is one I like to play around with. One of the things I really appreciate is that you're able to replay puzzles from the Extras Menu, and they properly count towards unlocking Steam Achievements so you can aim for increased accuracy without needing to restart the story. I have a full run of Steam Achievements, except for the Hard Mode trophy as I prefer playing the game with quality of life features such as a map that highlights areas with actions that can still be taken.

Segunda entrega de la saga que se vuelve bastante repetitiva con respecto la primera entrega. Aquí sí encontraremos escenas de objetos ocultas, aunque no las típicas de este tipo de juegos, pero los puzzles son muy repetitivos y la mar de sencillo. Es una entrega que parece "menor" dentro del género. Contiene bastantes logros y, lo bueno, es que puedes volver a jugar desde el menú los puzzles y te contará para los logros, no tienes que volver a jugarte el juego, lo cual, dada la calidad del mismo, se agradece. Los personajes son de los más heterogéneos y no sabes muy bien si la ambientación es postapocalíptica o es que simplemente querían meter a personajes con pinta de modernos que no pegan ni con cola en un juego donde aparecen poderes mágicos y parece más "medieval" que otra cosa. El argumento es bastante malo y previsible y parece casi más un DLC en cuanto a profundidad que un juego por sí mismo. En general, juego que parece hecho con bastante desidia, personajes con muy poco carisma y bastante mal diseñados, música que ni fu ni fa y ningún aspecto en el que destaque especialmente. La longitud del juego está bien, así como la del capítulo extra...pero no creo que aporte nada al género...y aún así, la saga consta de 4 entregas...veremos cómo sigue, pero creo que hay opciones bastante mejores.
