the academic is nowhere near as interesting (to me personally) as a narrator compared to the ancestor, but it's certainly a really good game. I have 21 hours on steam rn, but on epic games (when the game was only accessible there) I have about 200 hours. the game aged like wine. it was alright, then good, then very good. but it's also not for everyone, and I found the long term planning and prep between expeditions to be quite a big obstacle for me to enjoy it as much as I can honestly claim I do.

It's coque and ball torture part 2 and you'll like it.

The game was fun for me untill I got to the final boss, which was a bit too grindy for my taste.

I finally gave DD2 a proper try, and it's pretty good. It's not as good as the first one, but it helped that I wasn't expecting that.

Good successor to DD I. Good pace of progression to develop characters' skill
