Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Finally, a SHUMP With a Bisexual Color Scheme
Fun game, and overall a more deep and challenging game than the second one. The scoring system is built around grazing bullets which is a real daredevil kind of thing to focus on. You have two game modes, one where killing enemies takes their bullets off the screen, and one where grazing enemy bullets builds up your hyper mode. It's a fun scoring system that adds a lot of challenge to the game. My biggest issue with it is that the different ship and laser types are tied to challenges such as "No damage a boss on hard", and "Beat the true last boss TLB". Both of those actions essentially are asking you to pull off a 1CC which is absurd of an ask for the player to pull off just to experience more of the content. This game's easy mode is harder than DU2's hard mode was! You unlock extra continues by playing more runs but that feels like a lame thing to unlock compared to different ways to play the game, and it doesn't help with getting a 1CC obviously. So yeah, you really only have three ship types to play around with for the vast majority of the game. Kinda annoying, but it doesn't take away from the game being a deep shmup with a fun scoring system. Just be aware if you're a novice player that you will get your ass beat without seeing any new content for a while.

The previous game is one of my favourite shoot em ups so I had great expectations for the sequel. I prefer danmaku 2, but this one is solid too and it's probably more accessible (except the last boss who is insane). It's mind boggling that this game has been done by just one person. I hope he develops a new one.
You are a god if you can 1cc this on graze mode true. To even get through Graze levels on default difficulty, even with maximum lives, one has to chant to the old gods using Mongolian Throat singing, while aligning one's Chakras, whilst also performing a blood sacrifice to the patron saint of Danmaku. TLDR: This game requires a zen like flow state for the hardest difficulties, but the feeling is worth it.
This game is so hard, but I cant stop playing it. Has an awesome soundtrack and is really addictive
Danmaku Unlimited 3 is an outstanding example of how a modern independent developer can capture the spirit of classic arcade shoot-'em-ups while adding fresh mechanics that make the experience feel contemporary. Developed and published by Doragon Entertainment, this vertical-scrolling bullet hell shooter embraces everything fans love about the genre: overwhelming projectile patterns, demanding reflexes, rewarding scoring systems, and a constant sense of progression through mastery. Rather than relying on nostalgia alone, the game refines traditional mechanics and introduces enough innovation to stand comfortably alongside some of the genre's most respected titles. Set within a mystical science-fiction world, the game places players in the role of Valkyria, a powerful guardian who challenges divine forces in order to defend humanity. While the narrative remains relatively simple and never becomes the main attraction, it provides enough context to give each stage and boss encounter a sense of purpose. The real focus lies in the action itself, and from the opening moments it becomes clear that Danmaku Unlimited 3 is designed for players who enjoy learning patterns, improving their skills, and pushing themselves toward perfection. The gameplay revolves around navigating impossibly dense bullet formations while unleashing a variety of attacks against waves of enemies. Like the best bullet hell shooters, success depends on precision rather than raw speed. The small hitbox of the player's craft allows for incredibly tight maneuvers through seemingly impossible gaps, creating thrilling moments where survival often depends on movements measured in mere pixels. Despite the visual chaos, the game remains remarkably fair. Enemy attacks are clearly telegraphed, and every mistake feels like a lesson rather than a punishment. One of the game's most distinctive features is its advanced graze system. Instead of simply avoiding enemy fire, players are encouraged to fly dangerously close to bullets in order to build energy and increase their offensive potential. This creates a compelling risk-and-reward dynamic that constantly pushes players toward more aggressive strategies. Skilled players can maximize their scoring opportunities and unleash devastating attacks by mastering this mechanic, while newcomers can still enjoy the game by focusing primarily on survival. The result is a system that scales naturally with player ability and provides significant replay value. Another standout element is the Spirit mechanic, which transforms enemy bullets under certain conditions and allows players to absorb them for additional benefits. This feature adds another strategic layer to the action and prevents gameplay from becoming a simple exercise in dodging. Every encounter becomes a balancing act between offense, defense, and resource management. The interaction between the Spirit and Graze systems creates a satisfying gameplay loop that rewards experimentation and practice. The game's visual presentation is spectacular. Explosions, laser attacks, and intricate projectile patterns fill the screen with color and motion without ever becoming unreadable. The backgrounds are beautifully designed and contribute to the game's dreamlike atmosphere, while enemy designs range from elegant mechanical constructs to imposing bosses that dominate the battlefield. The visual effects successfully create the feeling of participating in an epic cosmic conflict, and the smooth performance ensures that the action remains fluid even during the most intense encounters. Boss battles deserve particular praise because they represent the game's greatest strengths. Each major enemy introduces unique attack patterns that challenge players to adapt and improve. These encounters are lengthy enough to feel substantial without becoming exhausting, and every phase introduces new obstacles that keep the battles engaging. Defeating a boss after several failed attempts delivers the kind of satisfaction that has made bullet hell shooters so enduringly popular among dedicated players. Customization options further strengthen the experience. Different weapon configurations allow players to adjust their offensive capabilities according to their preferred style. Some setups excel at focusing damage on powerful enemies, while others provide wider coverage for handling large groups. This flexibility encourages experimentation and makes repeated playthroughs feel fresh. Players seeking high scores will spend considerable time optimizing their builds and refining strategies to maximize efficiency. The soundtrack is another major highlight. Featuring energetic electronic music infused with rock and metal influences, the audio perfectly complements the relentless pace of the gameplay. Every stage is backed by powerful tracks that enhance the excitement of dodging waves of bullets and confronting massive bosses. The music maintains intensity throughout the campaign and contributes significantly to the game's identity. Although the main campaign is relatively short by modern standards, its arcade-inspired structure means that replayability is where the game truly shines. Multiple difficulty settings, score-chasing opportunities, specialized gameplay modes, and competitive leaderboards provide countless reasons to return. Each playthrough offers a chance to improve performance, discover new strategies, and achieve higher rankings. For players who enjoy mastering mechanics rather than simply reaching the ending, the game offers tremendous long-term value. Danmaku Unlimited 3 succeeds because it understands exactly what makes bullet hell shooters compelling. It combines responsive controls, excellent visual clarity, rewarding systems, memorable boss encounters, and a fantastic soundtrack into a highly polished package. While players looking for an extensive story or lengthy campaign may find the experience somewhat limited, fans of skill-based arcade action will discover one of the finest independent shoot-'em-ups available. It stands as both an accessible introduction for newcomers and a rewarding challenge for genre veterans. Rating: 9/10
Very good danmaku with some features that made it different from the huge pool of games of the genre, like the chance to see the shape of your ship when you are into mist/lights/explosions etc.
One of my favourite shmups, amazing ost, an intriguing world and backgrounds with exhilarating gameplay that cannot be found anywhere in most modern day videogames!
