Daily Botanica is a relaxing desktop idler about raising mysterious plants. Pet and water each seedling, discover what makes it flourish, and arrange a living collection around your screen - even while you work, study, or step away.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Daily Botanica is a quiet plant-growing game made to share your screen, not take it over. Set down a pot, plant a mystery seed, and let a new companion grow beside your work, games, and everyday windows.
Nothing withers when you step away. A plant reaches full bloom in about a day on its own, while gentle care helps it grow sooner. Water the soil, brush the leaves with your cursor, or uncover a special ritual. Each successful interaction adds a lasting care bonus for that growth, making the plant grow faster while you carry on with your day.
Every plant begins as an unknown sprout. As it develops through three growth stages, its silhouette, rarity, native habitat, variation, and identity gradually come into focus. The original collection contains 137 species, ranging from delicate familiar greenery to strange botanical treasures.
Each species has its own unusual preferences. Watch Botanica for clues and discover what your plant responds to: a gesture around its leaves, a moment of quiet company, or something brought over from your desktop. Special rituals can provide powerful care bonuses once per growth.
When a plant reaches full bloom, harvest it into your Herbarium. Each specimen is its own individual, preserving its name, visual variation, care history, bond, and memories of the time you spent together.
Keep your favorites safely in the Herbarium, display them around your desktop, or send them to the Conservatory for additional XP. Displayed companions also earn a small amount of passive XP over time. Your Discoveries journal permanently records every species you have raised, even after an individual plant leaves your collection.
Harvesting plants, discovering new species, displaying companions, and sending specimens to the Conservatory earns XP. Progress through 100 Garden Levels, each with its own title and permanent reward.
Garden Levels unlock core pots, watering cans, additional growing spaces, and account-wide improvements such as shorter growth times, stronger care, faster interaction cooldowns, and increased XP rewards.
Arrange plants anywhere on screen and pair them with vessels from the Pot Atelier. Every growing space and displayed companion can be moved and resized independently. Growing spaces can be hidden without pausing their progress, while harvested plants can be displayed around your desktop without a fixed limit.
When you need a clear workspace, lock the garden and click straight through to the files, games, and windows beneath it. Daily Botanica stays present without getting in your way.
There are no failed crops, no wilting, and no penalty for closing the game. Growth and interaction cooldowns continue while you are away. Mystery seeds are always available, and new growing spaces open as your Garden Level rises.
A single pot can remain a small daily ritual—or become a garden spread across your entire desktop.

Super chill little game to have running in the background while you work or play. Collecting and discovering new plants is weirdly satisfying, and I like that it never feels needy or demanding. Cute, relaxing, and honestly kinda hard not to check on every now and then lol.
Super chill and cute. Nice to have running in the background while working.
it is certainly a calming experience, especially while im doing work and a new plant is caught in the corner of my eye tells how time has moved so quickly and i didn't realize. there isnt much work since youre essentially raising a plant by putting a seed, watering and loving it, and waiting, but seeing each time increased number of pots and flowers that came to life in them is certainly rewarding. digital balcony.
