Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It feels a bit mean to downvote the game, but I do rate it as a game and not as a piece of art. As a free project or demo, I would rate it much more favourably, and awaiting a bigger game. But in this form, as a finished project it just does not really hold up well, despite the low price. What you get is basically a few very cool stop motion videos, strung together by the most basic dialogues and minigames. The minigames have no real meaning, you just randomly click around and the dialogues are thematic but its not much fun to string together the info you get. The game makes it very clear from the start that it’s a tiny little thing, and for this reason it held no weight for me. So it turned into this clicking experience, a bit like some browser game and then the game ended and I feel like I experienced a whole lot of nothing. It’s a shame when ideas and settings are turned into such tiny projects. As a standalone thing, I can only really suggest this game for people who want to support small devs and obscure art projects. I would have much rather payed 10 € and get a larger game that really pulls me in rather than this tiny snipped of an idea that wasnt really turnted into anything meaningful.
At first glance, I didn’t expect much from this game, but after playing it, I feel like I got far more than I paid for. It introduces a storytelling I’ve never seen in a game before. Yes, there isn’t a huge variety of torture methods, and the playthrough can be quite short if you rush it. But exploring every choice and branching scenario makes you realize something profound.
The final cutscene never changes, regardless of who the victim is. Why? Because there is no witch. There never was. You are simply torturing people (not always innocent but not witches), and most of their confessions are just desperate products of the torture -exactly like in real life. That is what makes the game so grounded: you play a zealot whose visions also hold no actual truth.
I highly recommend this game; it's well worth multiple playthroughs. Well done
My favorite part is when you torture people for no real reason because I am mentally deranged just like the main character.
No he entendido absolutamente nada. 10/10
There's neither a story nor a game, just a moral lesson which is obvious.
Beware this game is just a 25min "experiment" that combines timing "torture minigames" with dialogues and a lot of gore and disturbing imagery. If you are up to it, mind these: - Do witchs exist? - Would neighbours tell the truth about each other? - Does torture work to discover the truth? From my side, I enjoyed art and "stop motion" scenes (torturer's dreams), but the amount of gore was way too much and the lack of proper introduction or context building lacking. This one, is only recommended for those curious or into short "gore/disturbing experiences". For the rest, I recommend getting "Dead Format" instead, a great game from the same developer.
Good game, extremely on point with its concept, and very cool aesthetic work- especially with the cutscenes. I find that the main weakness for me was how the torture mechanic was handled; after you had spoken to all of the villagers, time would literally not progress until you employed the torture option. I feel like this undermined the conceptual strength of presenting it as an option, where you go from playing as a witchfinder for whom torture is as normal as talking, to an pawn which is metaphysically mandated to carry out such acts. Additionally, I think that this undermined the use of grotesque minigames for the torture mechanic. I think that this had so much potential to let the player sit with the cruelty of their own decision to take the torture option, but it just feels so much weaker when there is no alternative presented within the gameplay.
Very dark story...
