Cursed

Knew the original version and was already fond of it, had to play the remake myself. It's obvious the dev did this with love for his universe. I loved going into more detail on the lore of the forgotten civilisations and the new end blew me away, I had so much fun. The evolution of the artstyle is clearly visible, then again the 2009 game was made in a week while this one took over a year. The motivations of the character are clearer too with some clever and discreet new dialogue, but maybe I'm biaised because I know him from Cursed 2 and 3. I saw some people get annoyed with the insta death jumpscares, personally they cracked me up and most are easy to anticipate when you think just a little bit. I'll admit some of the puzzles gave me trouble, but I'd say it's more of a natural denseness on my part than a real lack of clue from the game (although I'll admit some hints are not obvious at first). I don't have much negative stuff to say, a few bugs here and there but nothing too serious. The one thing that did really bother me was for the final boss [spoiler] having to replay the whole dice game if you die to Solus is kind of annoying it would be great if the game could autosave before the beginning of the fight. [/spoiler] Thank you DisasterSquad for this amazing remake, can't wait for the Cused 2 full remake (jk) !
