for a game that doens't offer much content, it got too grindy and too difficult near 6++ hours mark, not a fun game especially compare to top in the class like Hades

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The challenge is actually better than Ravenswatch. Now give me a second opus in multiplayer under the casting of the mummy with Brendan Fraser.
There is a lot of marketing around "hard games" but this game is actually hard; and judging by the achievements and how small a percent of steam can reach the end, it seems others agree. It's a practice in misery, but man, the rush when you finally conquer it is unrivaled.
This game has a lot of fun aspects to it. Basically rogue adventure runs but you have traps that you can only see in the light, so you have to light enemies on fire, or have your torch or a shining type of weapon in hand or you won't see much. The curses are the fun part of the game. Each curse, except the final one, is a unique blend of positive and negative. And in some cases it might be a positive curse based on your style or your character build. The last one is always a harsh DOT, and not fun, but it takes a LOT to get to that point. More often you will die before that curse even triggers. Some of them remind me of Eternal Darkness' Sanity effects (which you should absolutely look up cause they're fun). There's a lot of breakable walls with hidden rooms which you can use a heavy weapon or explosions from traps or such to open. Your fire can activate traps on enemies or make them into a light source, as I mentioned above. Oh yea, in general, when you're in light you take less damage too. So a lot of posibilties. Offensive combat has a lot of different combos and synergies. Do you want to kill fast, kill with crits, stun, move the enemy towards or away from you, interrupt an attack, and so on. Defensive combat revolves around dodging and parrying, figuring out which is best for you will take a bit of work. Parrying is harder to do but rewards you with some stamina refill, while dodging is more clear to be able to avoid things while maneuvering to get into a better combat position. You have 6 slots for relics that have buffs. And two one handed weapons and a two handed weapon in your arsenal. Synergy and such and so on, it's pretty normal stuff from other games, the only real unique one here are buffs that let you lower your curse corruption by doing things like buying with gold at shops or killing with a specific weapon or combo. The things you unlock are some buffs that you can choose to start with, rerolls, new gear, and more options for your starting gear selection. The downsides to the game is that the parrying system is VERY tough. It takes a while to get used to and each enemy has their own pattern and timing, some will even juke you to get you to parry too early. HOWEVER in contrast to this, you get a ton of HP to work with, as you have a starting HP of 1000 and most normal enemies in the first section do about 15-30 and bosses might do up to ~50? So it's a pretty forgiving system if you do get hit, but you also could get more corrupted if it's a dark style attack... The story is also a bit limited as "You are cursed, you gotta break free of it. But you can't die now in the temple..." Heck, I didn't even know the main character had a name till I saw him in dead cells :) Comparing this to Dead Cells where a regular enemy can kill you in 2-3 hits but a boss can hit you 10 times or more before your HP runs out is a good comparison. I really wish Dead Cells would have taken the curse system from this game, cause it's way more fun than getting one hit killed. Overall, this game is worth checking out if you want a bit of adventure than just combat in your roguelike action game. It is NOT a clone of Hades by far.
Overall I really liked this game. The main draw to this game is that over the course of a run you will gain curses that negatively affect your run. However these curses aren't too bad and if the curse has a huge draw back like enemies being hidden in darkness until they get close to you then you will also deal 20% more damage in the dark. This makes it to where curses are punishing but not too bad unless you get the final curse which punishes you hard. Once you get a grasp of when to take on curses to gain buffs and better equipment then this game gets very fun as you're in a constant balancing act of balancing risk and reward. Also the fighting feels very smooth with the game rewarding you for doing perfect dodges and parries by giving you stamina back to continue attacking the enemies. The only complaint I have with the game is that some of the bosses are unfun. Mainly because the spam projectiles making it very hard to hit them at times, but other than that I thought the game was very fun.
