About
Crystal Breaker is a dynamic incremental game about flying through crystal planet, destroying crystal formations, and constantly upgrading your ship. Some crystals are easy to break, while others explode or require much greater firepower to destroy.
As you progress, you will upgrade your main weapon to break through crystal masses faster, unlock new resources, and earn more efficiently.
Crystal Breaker is a game about constant growth, satisfying destruction, discovering new crystal types, and building an increasingly powerful space mining ship.

It started out really cool and fun, then it became monotonous and boring, and finally the game got so hectic on screen with how much it was trying to display in the final level that it broke the game and slowed it down to literally like 1FPS, making beating the game practically impossible, so I just quit at that point. Not terrible, but I can't say I recommend it especially since it broke at the end.
This is exactly the kind of game I can play for a few minutes and somehow lose an hour to. Break crystals, get stronger, upgrade the ship, repeat. Very chill and satisfying.

Planet select does not work. Says you are in the demo even when game is purchased. I assume the developer flubbed the update. Will try again after the next update but it is unplayable right now.
Love the color palette and VFX! Flying through these vibrant crystal fields and blowing everything to pieces looks and feels fantastic.
Stealing another review that matches my thoughts perfectly: It started out really cool and fun, then it became monotonous and boring, and finally the game got so hectic on screen with how much it was trying to display in the final level that it broke the game and slowed it down to literally like 1FPS, making beating the game practically impossible, so I just quit at that point. Not terrible, but I can't say I recommend it especially since it broke at the end. There's 3-4 hours of gameplay before it breaks. I'd say the first two were fun and then I just wanted to get to the end (which... is there an end? I unlocked everything and it just keeps having me load up on planet 5?)
Was some fun progression for a few hours, but it's pretty easy to unlock all the upgrades & gameplay progression before unlocking all the resource-gain content, diminishing the desire to continue the grind. Just grind for grind's sake after that point. Additionally, as you near end-game state, the amount of objects and pickups that get spawned is pretty absurd, and doesn't have effective or optimised methods of cleanup. This causes the game to chug pretty hard, inevitably reaching the point of a slideshow and effectively frozen/locked framerate, and becomes unplayable. Suggest waiting for some performance fix updates and perhaps some economy balancing & tuning before purchasing, unless you're fine with just a few hours' jaunt of shiny rock destruction. (edit) Latest version still runs into the same performance issues, tho technically has seemed to improve average fraterate from less than 1fps to perhaps 5fps.
My god this is boring. There's very little change in this game. The crystals gets bigger and more plentiful, but the first 5 minutes so far is the same as the next 2 hours so far. It's just flying in a direction until time runs out and seeing if anything can be upgraded which more often than not, there isn't anything. No idea why the talents are so spread out so you have to drag the talents around to see what could be upgrade.
This game needs more content.
I've "beat it" in about 2 hours. It's pretty short. I've bought all the unlocks, all the planets, all the ships, and I've started mostly maxing most of the crystals. The performance at the end is rough. Dev, if you're reading this, i'd strongly recommend giving us the option to turn off shadows and floating text to help with performance!
Less than 2 hours of content. Even with a 9950 and 5900 the game crawls down to 1 fps later on. Pretty fun for the first hour or so. The game just sort of ends at some point with no clear ending or final objective. Each planet is the same so you mostly see the whole game in the demo. Try before you buy.
