CrossCells is another brilliant entry in Matthew Brown’s catalog of logic puzzles, but it brings a refreshing twist to the formula established by its predecessors. While it retains the signature minimalist aesthetic and soothing ambient soundscapes we’ve come to love, it introduces a significant shift in philosophy: freedom to fail. A More Forgiving Logic Unlike previous titles that might "punish" an incorrect click immediately, CrossCells adopts a non-intrusive approach. It allows you to follow a line of reasoning to its conclusion—even if that conclusion is wrong. CrossCells is a must-play for anyone who enjoys Hexcells or SquareCells. It’s a peaceful yet rigorous workout for the brain. A Note to the Developer: > Matthew, if you’re reading this: please consider adding an Endless Mode! The community is hungry for more. A "1,000 Puzzles Solved" achievement would be the ultimate badge of honor for those of us who simply cannot put this game down.
Not as good as Hexcells/Squarecells but still somewhat enjoyable. Feels like a step back with no dark mode, extremely slow animations, no level reset and a terrible ripple effect (at least you can turn that one off) though. I really needed a notepad to keep track of some puzzles, but sometimes the fastest way was to just try a solution and see if it worked before trying another.

As good as the other games from this developer. I do love his games, they are very calm and challenging. Though this one is more arithmetic than others (the other ones are alike Minesweeper), it is still extremely engaging! Added this to my collection of perfect games (100% achievements)
Math game for nerds
Easier to fall into guesswork than HexCells but there is solid reasoning for each step in every puzzle as far as I remember. Very satisfying once you start thinking the right way.
A little brain use required, im not into logic puzzle but really liked it to finish.
