Bestest Game Everrrrr
It's janky, broken and infuriating in many places. But also I can't stop playing it and no other game can quite hit the same spot.
Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys single-player loot-and-shoot experiences. As many others have pointed out, this game has both very obvious strengths and very obvious weaknesses. I have played for more than 800 hours across multiple playthroughs, and my thoughts are as follows. As for the story, which is one of the most common criticisms, I personally don't consider it a major issue. The storytelling is clearly flawed, but I'm not watching a movie—I'm playing a game. For me, it never got in the way of enjoying the gameplay itself. My approach has been to finish the main story relatively quickly and then gradually refine my build while completing side quests and exploring the world. Pros: * The map is massive, and you can interact with almost everything you come across, allowing you to explore the game world however you want. * There is a huge variety of mini-games and activities, so you can choose a different style of gameplay depending on your mood. * Farming gear and collecting various items is genuinely rewarding. * If you simply wander around and explore without relying on guides, it's easy to lose track of time. Unexpected loot discoveries during exploration often become some of the most memorable moments. Cons: * The storytelling really is a mess. Even though The Division 2 becomes less believable as the story progresses, this game has even more moments that make you question what the writers were thinking. * A large portion of the side quests follow a simple fetch-quest formula: talk to someone at Point A, travel to Point B, and then return to Point A. This can become repetitive and boring. * There is so much content that it can often be difficult to decide what to do next. * The game offers plenty of freedom when it comes to weapon and armor builds, but as you progress into the late game, you start to realize that many of the options feel more similar than different.
GOTY
Good game, very open world, beautiful things to see.... but man, you devs are useless as making Bosses... Ive played Dark Souls, Elden Ring and other Boss Centered games, and i have never felt any of those bosses kill me by cheer BS, but you all... my god... Where do i start... Endless freaking cutscene's where the Boss gets to start a combo before you can even move, Some inputs dont even register until you move or jump at the start of a fight. You have a dodge that trigger but you still die under a hammer that isnt even near you. Wouldnt be a issue if the Bosses didnt take forever to take down, even with Max gear. And dont get me started on Musken! Who that hell is so stupied that they thing, i want a long as freaking Cutscene (UNSKIPPABLE!) before i can try again at the harderst Unarmed Boss in that game! How?! That being said i enjoy the game to a point that i play it to complete it. But i would not recommend this mess to anyone.
Incredible game. Now with story!
