Before getting into other things, I will just say first and foremost that this game is enjoyable. Its probably basically what you expect, and if you like the genre you can probably get 10-20 hours of gameplay out of it depending on how much of a completionist you want to be
However, there are a few issues that kind of drag this game down for me that I think you should be aware of:
1. The voice acting in this game is atrocious. Like so bad it almost sounds like its intentionally that bad as a joke. Probably the worst voice acting I've ever heard. However I'm pretty sure its supposed to in-earnest which makes it so grating to listen to. Really can't recommend enough turning down this game's audio super low and just like watching a video on the side
2. Kind of similar to the first point, this game's writing and humor are SO bad. A lot of this only manifests in the dialog (which you should pretty much mute anyway), but some easter eggs in levels follow a similar style of really bad humor. I don't really have a way to describe it, other than it follows a similar style of like, eastern european humor? I'm not sure what it is exactly, but its painfully unfunny
3. The art style of this game is not good. Basically every asset in the game feels like it was purchased from a marketplace. This isn't a problem on its own, but it does mean the game has essentially no coherent artstyle and looks super awkward and cheap in places
4. This game is not super well polished either. There are some buggy interactions with controls if you like put gadgets away while pressing other buttons. These aren't an enjoyment killer but definitely can be annoying when its really easy to accidentally put your gadgets in a glitched state until you shuffle items around
5. The game LOVES to place tons of clutter around that you don't need to pick up, but also that you can't trash. This becomes kind of annoying after a while, because some of these items can get in the way of like moving furniture back or other things. And I guess you are just expecting to manually pick up each of these small items and move them somewhere else? Because you can't just put it in the garbage bag
6. The second act of the game is to put it frankly, not amazing. Most of the levels become huge and sprawling. This isn't an issue on its own, but the second act also feels WAY buggier and has WAY worse performance (even on a good PC). I would almost argue you could stop playing after the first act because I could absolutely see the second act hurting someone's overall opinion of the game
7. This is a minor thing, but the menus and help are not great. I didn't have this issue, but I could absolutely see someone just completely missing that there is an upgrade tree they can use. The game doesn't really do a good job at telling you that it exists (I had to look at the controls to see what the button was to open it)
A lot of that sounds negative, but really the core gameplay loop is pretty enjoyable. I do think however with some of these things, it does feel a bit overpriced. This feels to me more like a $5 - $7 game, given some bugginess and overall cheap feel in most of the levels.
