Contract Rush DX

Demn what a game i usually don't do reviews because often the others pretty much say what i think already, and also cause im lazy, but for a game that is such a hidden gem like this i just have to XD As i grew up with Newgrounds this felt just right, the characters are all unique to play as, the stages and bosses being all thematical and all fight differently and the story evolves smoothly. There's also plenty of side optional content with challenges (which are pretty hard to do flawlessly for me but still) and revisiting stages which have new stuff in them. I highly reccomend it if youre a fan of shoot em up like Metal Slug series, its easier than those games but still gives a good challenge if you want to 100% it. Either way its a solid 9/10, highly reccomended, thankiu devs for making such a great game and i hope to spread the word ^w^

I really enjoyed this game. Usually 2d platformers and shmups aren't for me, due to how difficult they could be, but this game had a comfortable difficulty on Normal. Not to say it was easy, some bosses and challenge attempts went 10+ attempts, but I was making progress each time. I appreciate a game that feels like it wants me to beat it, and I had a lot of fun doing it.

I do recommend this game it is very fun and has great mechanics and great story. I wrote you review out of sadness and disappointment however. I was a big fan of it ever since it was a newgrounds game, I was an active user on there and this always stayed my favorite game. Playing it now had this wonder continued for a lot of the game. It started losing that wonder at John wayford onward where the game started really loving adding randomized projectiles with precise patterns making it very needless difficult and some times impossible to not take damage. After this the finales non boss stages are a pain to get through and i really didn't have fun doing them. I am now at what i think is the final boss being deaths devil and its gotten out of hand for me. What once was a fun run and gun experience has turned into something that more resembles a rage game. I am throwing in the towel at this stage this isnt fun anymore. I will continue to play because besides from these major downsides the rest of the game is amazing and I think you'd like it too.

A game so good that I wrote my only steam review.

I'll be honest, i only know this game due to Noodle's video, and i'll have to thank him I hadn't had such enjoyment in playing action platformer in a long time, the variety of characters you can play from gives me a lot a flexibility, and the boss fights are the main selling point, they are SO GOOD! I genuinely recommend you to get this game if you like action game, you will get the action. On a side note, i bought myself the Cynthia plushie, and i can't wait to have my hands on it
