Pretty bad game. Takes forever for you to actually do anything impactful.
This game may not look it from the start but it is a ton of fun! I was super surprised with how much you can do in this game! 10/10 would play again!
Strange how quickly the hours seemed to get sucked up by the game. Bought it in the evening and before I knew, next day 7 hours gone. It has that typical one more turn vibe which is so addictive. There are some Early Access hiccups however when posted the devs responded acknowledging it and how to fix in future updates. Looking forward to the next updates and where the Dev team takes it. Fully recommend if you are looking for a nice relaxing game! Very suitable for Home Office these days

Trash game now, developer said they will support game and update game with new contents and bug fixes, they just lied and abandoned this game.
Been playing this for a while now, and it is addicting making progress and seeing your kingdom grow right before your eyes. Some mechanics need a little retooling like the advisors segment but I know that there are patches coming up to address this. I've had a very positive experience with game and will continue to enjoy playing it. Well worth the price!
This turn-based simulation and strategy builder is a good bit of fun. Choosing what buildings to research next, working to build you inventory of building materials while spending them where you need to and the many other options that assail you in Conqueror 940 AD will keep you clicking the next turn button and passing an hour in the blink of an eye. The throne room provides you with some fun dialogue interactions that will build your skills depending on your choices. You'll be sending your emissary out to improve your relations with neighboring kingdoms, all of whom are way more powerful than you. You'll be trading for gold and for the resources you don't have, only to lose them to bandit raids, which will force you to research and advance your military prowess and defenses - all while trying to build your population and your economy! Conqueror 940 AD is a welcome relief in an age of early access games that fall falt, or over-promise and under deliver. Combat Wombat Studios has won this game player as a customer for whatever they develop in the future as long as they continue to deliver on what they promise - and that's just what they've done in Conqueror 940 AD!
Great game, where you have to build up your own kingdom from the bottom, you got to get resources, trade, research, upgraded skills, go into war and maybe get married - the dashboard in the game is super easy and nice to control. Super cool story to start the game up... the hole setup is super nice - awesome game.
If you like turn-based games, this casual medieval town builder is a great choice. Conqueror 940 AD's tutorial is just enough to get you started and then the rest is up to how you want to play the game. It starts off at a good casual pace and then momentum and strategy builds as you research and unlock new buildings, army unit, weapons and defences. I like the sometimes quirky court system but this is a good way of increasing skills and statistics. I can see the game getting quite complicated as bandit raids increase and relationships with other kingdoms gets stretched. Trade between kingdoms is key early on as you balance resources while researching and building your next updates/upgrades. With the release date for v1.0 coming soon, I highly recommend giving Conqueror 940 AD a look.
