Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game rate : Graphics 7/10 Control 6/10 difficulty 6/10 Addictedness 5/10 Player anger - non Pay to win? - NO Play without friend - not good Is it worth it - YES Good co-op game if you have friends
Played on Linux using GE-Proton 7.10, Got on sale for 0.89p, Played the first objective level on local multiplayer on easy settings all on my own and did it, the last bit of the level waiting for the Helicopter was the most intense 15-00 minutes i've had in a long while. Graphics are okay and do the job, sound is pretty good, Gameplay is okay, had to get used to the controls but did not take long, As i said i only played alone so i have no idea if online co-op works as no one seems to be playing the game when i did a quick test. It's an okay Game even playing alone (Single Player), On sale it's worth a try if your not sure about the Game, I liked what i have played so far, and will play some more, as i want to see how far i can level up my player, and see how level up perks works (reload speed, running speed, etc).

esta divertido con amigos ... muy economico ,,,
Congo, developed by Big Red Eight, is a cooperative survival shooter built around a simple but intriguing idea—light is safety, and darkness is death. The game takes place in the depths of a hostile African jungle, where demonic creatures lurk in the shadows, and the only thing keeping you alive is your ability to generate light. From the very start, Congo presents an atmosphere of raw tension and unease. Players, either alone or with friends, must scavenge resources, set up defenses, and survive wave after wave of nocturnal monsters that swarm whenever the lights go out. It’s a premise that immediately captures attention: a blend of survival horror and cooperative strategy, where every second spent in darkness feels like a countdown to death. The setting is one of Congo’s most effective features. The dense jungle environment is rendered through a moody visual palette—thick vegetation, flickering lanterns, and the eerie glow of improvised light sources. The developers make excellent use of Unreal Engine 4’s lighting system to heighten tension; beams from flashlights, campfires, and vehicle headlights become lifelines in an otherwise suffocating void. The interplay between illumination and darkness is not just aesthetic but mechanical. The demonic enemies cannot enter well-lit areas, which makes managing your light sources an essential part of survival. It’s a clever mechanic that creates a constant balance between exploration and security. Venturing too far into the dark means death, but hoarding your light too carefully leads to dwindling resources. The jungle itself feels oppressive and alive, with the sound of insects, rustling leaves, and distant growls amplifying the sensation that something unseen is always watching. Congo’s core gameplay revolves around teamwork and resource management. Up to four players can join forces, scavenging for weapons, fuel, and supplies to keep their defenses active. Players must repair generators, place light traps, and coordinate their movements to ensure that no one is left in the dark. The cooperative dynamic works best when communication is strong—one player hauling fuel while another covers with a shotgun, or two players splitting duties between exploration and defense. This design gives the game a natural sense of camaraderie, especially during moments of desperation when power runs low and the darkness begins to close in. The sense of panic when the lights flicker and the shadows begin to move is one of Congo’s strongest achievements. It captures the primal fear of being hunted, where every noise feels like an omen and every misstep could doom the entire group. Despite its atmospheric success and solid premise, Congo struggles with depth and longevity. While the mechanics of light and darkness are innovative, they are not enough to sustain long-term engagement. The objectives tend to repeat across sessions—gather supplies, repair gates, survive waves—and enemy encounters lack variety. The absence of a strong progression system also means there is little incentive to keep playing once you’ve mastered the basic loop. The game’s difficulty is heavily dependent on player count, making solo play frustratingly punishing and cooperative play occasionally unbalanced. There’s also the issue of population; being a small-scale indie title, Congo never developed a large online community, which can make finding matches nearly impossible without organizing sessions manually. For a game that thrives on teamwork, this lack of accessibility severely limits its potential. On the technical side, Congo performs well enough for its scope but lacks the refinement of higher-budget titles. Movement and shooting mechanics are serviceable but stiff, and some environmental assets feel repetitive or underdeveloped. However, the atmosphere and lighting effects carry much of the weight, making up for these shortcomings through mood and tension. The sound design is a highlight—the combination of distant roars, whispering winds, and sudden bursts of chaos builds a tangible sense of dread. Even when the gameplay falters, the presentation consistently reinforces the game’s identity as a survival experience built around fear and fragility. In the end, Congo is an ambitious experiment that succeeds in concept but stumbles in execution. It delivers moments of genuine tension and excitement, especially when played with friends who understand the importance of cooperation and timing. The idea of light as a weapon and darkness as a predator remains compelling, and the game’s eerie jungle setting is memorable. Yet its limited content, uneven balancing, and small player base prevent it from realizing its full potential. Congo is best experienced as a short burst of cooperative chaos rather than a long-term multiplayer investment. For those willing to embrace its imperfections and find a group of friends to share in the fear, it can still deliver a unique and chilling night of survival. It’s an overlooked gem of indie ambition—rough, atmospheric, and fleeting, but undeniably distinctive in its approach to cooperative horror. Rating: 5/10
