Amazingly atmospheric, I knew I would enjoy this game just from the store page, but once I launched it I truly fell for it. The world is dark and gritty and just asks to be explored. I can't recommend this game enough.
CONCRETE is an atmospheric first-person exploration game that caught me off guard with how enjoyable its simple design can be. You’re dropped into large, isolated environments filled with strange statues, collectibles, and light puzzles, all wrapped in a retro-styled visual presentation. The gameplay revolves around exploring at your own pace, interacting with physics objects, and figuring out how to navigate each space — whether that’s stacking items to reach new areas or uncovering hidden paths tucked away in each level. What makes it work is how relaxed and straightforward it feels. The puzzles aren’t overly difficult, but they give enough direction to keep you engaged while still encouraging exploration and curiosity. With multiple maps, secrets, and collectibles to hunt down, there’s a satisfying loop of discovery that makes each area worth digging into. It’s a simple experience at its core, but that simplicity is exactly what makes it enjoyable — an easy recommendation if you’re looking for a laid-back exploration game with a bit of mystery. — The Ember Archives https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45601239/

Nothing I have played so far looks like any of the screenshots or video. In the beginning part (tutorial section?) trying to make it all the way across the platforms was impossible for me using a mouse and keyboard (holding 3 keys while trying to maneuver the last two boards that sink if you're not fast enough). I'm too old for this nonsense.
Game calls toilet paper "BOOTY PAPER", therefore it's a good game.
Game is pretty cool but I'm dumb as a rock and cannot figure out how you get that white glowing statue surrounded by windows in the city level ): would still recommend though :D
Awesome narrow open-wide delight.
Fundametally, this game plays well and rewards you for for borth exploration and mechanical mastery. There's jank, sure, but that's to be expected from such a small developer. This is an exceptionally promising first release, and I'm confident they'll be jockeying the rocket of success before long. For the price tag, it's hard to give this anything other than a big ol' thumbs up. She's good, check her out!
CONCRETE is a good game but for one huge flaw. Positives: Great exploration / immersive sim, puzzly game, with retro graphics. Large levels, with secret areas, notes with lore and hints. Cons: No mid-level saves. I spent more than an hour on an early level but had to quit. There was no explicit option to save game so I assumed it just autosaves. And yes, it does autosave, but seems like just a checkpoint early in the level, so on restarting the game I had lost about an hour of progress. That's just unacceptable.
Booty Paper.
