I only play the scripted missions; everything else is uninteresting to me. I find content DLCs useless unless they add story or single-player missions. If they release a DLC with more of those, I'll definitely pick it up.

Takes me back to a better time. Beautiful game that helped me find games fun again. Can't wait to see more DLC factions I love the variety. Waited 20 years for this game to come out and it was totally worth it.

Following the pattern of the Dawn of War series, I’m playing through this franchise backwards as well. So, the third installment was the first one I actually played. Returning to World War II feels incredibly refreshing to me, mostly because I can't recall playing any other WW2 game in recent years. I started with the African campaign playing as the Africakorps, which is a breath of fresh air, getting to play as someone other than the Allies for once. The maps are quite expansive, and I picked up the controls very quickly. I would closely compare the strategy gameplay to Dawn of War, which makes sense since it’s from the same studio—you train squads, capture sectors, and tactically eliminate enemy bunkers, artillery, and units. The African campaign took me about 7 hours to complete. The second part of the single-player experience is the Italian campaign, where you control a grand map of Italy and liberate the territory using armored companies. This style of gameplay has never really been my cup of tea, and at first, I doubted I would even finish it. However, after about 10 turns and a few hours in, the campaign map completely hooked me. I couldn't tear myself away and ended up completing the Italian campaign thoroughly, doing everything there was to do. In the end, I clocked 30 hours in the game and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great soundtrack, great gameplay. Graphically, the game looks nice, though some of the details are a bit blurry. In the end, I was enjoy my time with this game. Rating: 7/10
