Acabo de volver a jugar Command & Conquer: Generals – Zero Hour y la verdad es que sigue siendo espectacular. Un clásico de clásicos. Sin tantos mods, DLC ni suscripciones: instalar, jugar y disfrutar. Así de simple. Para mí, uno de los mejores juegos de estrategia de la historia, incluso después de tantos años. Se agradece muchísimo que lo hayan puesto en Steam y podamos volver a disfrutar de esta joya. ¡Muy recomendado! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

best command and conquer ever

Older RTS game set in it's own 'universe'. It came out in the early 2000s so it sometimes has issues starting today. You'll likely need Genpatcher or some other utility to apply seveal fixes, then it works reasonably well. There are other patches to add widescreen support as well so it doesn't look like utter crap scaled up to modern display resolutions. Back in the day it looked a lot nicer on CRT displays but with how sharp modern screens are, the graphics didn't really age well. In comparison, Warcraft III came out a year earlier and looked far far better. Hell even Red Alert 2 did, which came out 3 years earlier. But damn was it fun battling it out with a group of friends during LANs. Scud storm 'storms' when you built up a dozen then launch them all at once are a sight to behold. I admit when it first hit, I didn't care for it much. I wanted more Red Alert, not whatever this was. But after actually playing it for a bit, it grew on me and I came to like it. It's too bad that Generals and this expo was basically a one-off. It deserved better. If you haven't played this back in the day and aren't nostalgic for it, it's not really worth the currently full asking price for just this game tbh. Get the bundle on sale which does happen fairly frequently. At least then you get this and all the other C&C games at once. "Thank you for the neeeewww shooesss..."
