Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 11 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Coffee Talk Tokyo returns as a cozy, narrative-driven visual novel set in a late-night café in modern Tokyo. Brew drinks, listen to heartfelt stories, and shape the lives of humans and yōkai alike through meaningful conversations and impactful choices.
In a city of paper and steel, where old and new coexist, a small café becomes a refuge from the sweltering summer heat. Behind the counter, you serve the right drink at the right moment while your customers open up about love, loss, identity, and second chances, all to chill lo-fi beats.
• Brew hot and cold drinks for humans and yōkai
• Listen to deeply personal, branching stories
• Make dialogue choices that influence character outcomes
• Unlock hidden Tomodachill posts through interactive hashtags
• Discover multiple endings shaped by your decisions
Every shift brings new conversations, new connections, and new possibilities.
While the atmosphere feels familiar, the customers and their journeys are entirely new.
You’ll meet:
• Kenji, a traditional kappa salaryman searching for meaning after retirement.
• Vin, the Barista’s assistant coping with a fractured past and the lingering consequences of a previous disaster.
• Ayame, a happy-go-lucky but recently deceased It girl struggling to understand her unexpected afterlife.
And many more new faces, each story unfolds based on how you listen, respond, and serve.
The composer of Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2, Andrew “AJ” Jeremy, returns with an all-new lo-fi soundtrack to accompany every shift behind the counter.
Serve returning favorites and discover new drink options, including refreshing cold beverages perfect for Tokyo’s summer heat.
Enhance your latte art with sprinkle stencils, then personalize each drink by adding milk and etching your own finishing touches.
Engage with your customers beyond the café through Tomodachill, the in-game social network.
Tomodachill now features clickable hashtags. By following these hashtags, you can uncover hidden posts from characters you do not yet follow, revealing new layers of the story like a trail of breadcrumbs.
Some hidden posts contain important clues that influence how storylines unfold and can affect your path toward the best endings. Others expand the wider Coffee Talk world, sometimes offering glimpses of familiar faces.
Every post, reply, and connection may matter more than it first appears.

结尾绫芽听到妈妈温柔关心自己时突然情绪崩溃发脾气质问她为什么不像以前那样指责;;

This entry is a bit different, but just as heartwarming and charming. If you like Coffee Talk one and two, I feel safe recommending this one as well.
Clearly, I'm not done with the game yet! [Life gets real busy sometimes.] You wouldn't know it, but I own the first two entries in this series on Switch! [Which I have actually completed lol]. Coffee Talk is a strange series to me. I'd describe it as a visual novel with an interactive element. [Making Drinks]. I would call this series as a whole sort of like a VA-11 Hall-A lite. VA-11 Hall-A [not affiliated with this series] follows a similar sort of format of the player serving drinks and interacting with a cast of characters. Coffee Talk as a whole is sort of like that game, but instead of the protagonist being an established character, Coffee Talk just has Barista. This one's a departure from the location of the first two games. I wasn't sure if I'd like that at first, but I think it does a decent job of separating the location in Seattle and the one in Tokyo. If this is your first entry, skip buying the prologue! If it's not, spend the little extra and get that prologue! Returning to Seattle right off the bat made me much more willing to give the new location a chance. I'm leaving out any story elements so as not to spoil, but what I've experienced thus far I've really enjoyed. Coffee Talk as a series is strange. In the sense that if YOU as a person do not enjoy visual novels, you are not going to like this game. I played the first game as a teenager and found it boring. Once I got an attention span longer than 3 seconds, I revisited it and found that I really enjoyed it! So this whole review sort of follows that tune; it's not complicated, and I enjoy that. Each entry adds some new little gimmick or upgrade to drink-making. In Coffee Talk 2 we got the drawer; in this entry you get the addition of latte art stencils and cold drinks. I appreciate that this entry makes an effort to separate itself from the previous two while maintaining the charm of Coffee Talk. [Which to me is the music, expressive character sprites, drink art, etc.] This game is pretty. All the games in this series are visually appealing. You like pixel art? This series has great pixel art. The environment, the little details in PHOTOS on a fake social app, the DRINKS. It's all pretty, every single bit of it. Regardless of what you think of the game, it's never once made me doubt that the devs behind it CARE. Touching briefly here, another entry, another banger soundtrack. The extra city pop playlist you can get with this game is something I've been using on repeat in-game. It's a banger, thank you. If you enjoy lofi, you'll have a good experience with this game. With all of that mumbo jumbo, I will say that as far as I've gotten, the first Coffee Talk is still my favorite game in the series. It's not that the story of Coffee Talk Tokyo is bad; I'm just very attached to the original cast. This game's story is alright, and I care about most of its characters I've met thus far. I'm going to be so real; I dislike Kenji. In a lot of ways, I'm GLAD that I dislike him. I couldn't tell you why I'm not crazy about him, but the feeling has added to my personal enjoyment of the story. Anyway. TLDR: The story is alright, the characters are fun, the art is still amazing, and as always, the music is top tier. If you're already a fan, you'll find enjoyment. If you're a newcomer, go play Coffee Talk! 1 & 2 first, if at all possible! It's not required, sure, but it'll make this game more fun, trust me. I've had about five or six moments where I go "Holy Crap!, it's [insert character from one of the two previous games!] when I see their little update posts. It made me so happy to see them also still being changed despite not being present in this game :). Leaving off here, my two fav characters so far are Vin and Fuku! <3
This is one of my favorite VN and cozy game series out there. I love all my customers and would die for Vin, the most precious bean of coffee in the whole franchise. There's so much breadth of interpersonal experience to learn and explore here.
