Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Urocza historia i przyjemnie podane zagadki.
Rough and simple but full of heart and soul! Love it! Worth any penny!

Developed and published by prettysmart games, Code Romantic presents an unusual combination of visual novel storytelling and interactive programming education, transforming the process of learning C# into an engaging science fiction adventure. Instead of relying on conventional tutorials or textbook-style lessons, the game introduces coding concepts through a narrative centered on Mina Lovelace, a determined young programmer preparing to help humanity confront a powerful artificial intelligence that threatens civilization. By blending romance, friendship, mystery, and programming into a single experience, the game offers something that feels both educational and genuinely entertaining. It is an ambitious concept that succeeds largely because it never forgets to prioritize its characters and story alongside its lessons. The campaign unfolds over fourteen chapters, steadily weaving together narrative progression and educational challenges. Mina's personal journey is supported by a cast of classmates, mentors, and companions whose relationships evolve as the stakes grow increasingly serious. While the story embraces familiar science fiction themes involving advanced technology and humanity's survival, it also spends considerable time exploring personal ambitions, emotional connections, and the pressure of living up to family expectations. The romantic subplot provides a welcome contrast to the larger conflict, giving the characters moments of warmth that prevent the adventure from becoming overly bleak. Although the story follows a mostly linear structure, its writing does enough to keep players invested in discovering what happens next. Where Code Romantic truly separates itself from traditional visual novels is through its educational gameplay. Rather than presenting coding as an optional side activity, programming becomes an essential part of progression. Players are gradually introduced to C# fundamentals through more than fifty coding exercises that begin with simple concepts before expanding into increasingly complex programming logic. The game also includes brain teasers and logical puzzles that reinforce problem-solving skills beyond syntax alone. Every lesson is designed with accessibility in mind, making it approachable even for players who have never written a line of code before. Helpful explanations accompany mistakes, encouraging experimentation instead of punishing failure, and the steady pace allows new concepts to build naturally upon previous lessons. The presentation complements the experience exceptionally well. The watercolor-inspired art style gives the game a distinctive visual identity, with expressive character illustrations and attractive environments that make conversations enjoyable to follow. Subtle animations breathe life into the cast without distracting from the dialogue, while the soundtrack effectively shifts between emotional, peaceful, and dramatic moments depending on the story's tone. Together, the visuals and music create an atmosphere that feels inviting, helping players remain engaged during both lengthy story segments and educational exercises. The polished presentation reinforces the impression that this is a complete visual novel rather than simply an educational application disguised as a game. One of the game's greatest accomplishments is how naturally it integrates learning into its narrative. Coding challenges rarely feel disconnected because they are framed as meaningful steps in Mina's development as a programmer preparing to confront an intelligent enemy. Instead of interrupting the story, each lesson contributes to the overall progression, giving players a practical reason to master new programming concepts. This seamless integration makes Code Romantic particularly effective for beginners interested in exploring software development through a more interactive and entertaining medium than traditional learning resources. The experience does have a few limitations. Players already comfortable with C# or programming in general may find the educational content too introductory, as the puzzles are clearly designed with newcomers in mind. Likewise, those expecting multiple story routes or extensive player choice may be disappointed by the largely linear narrative. Certain plot threads also leave room for future continuation rather than providing complete closure by the conclusion. However, these shortcomings are understandable given the game's focus on teaching fundamentals while delivering a compelling story, and they do little to diminish its overall appeal for its intended audience. Code Romantic successfully demonstrates that educational games do not have to sacrifice entertainment in order to teach valuable skills. By combining a heartfelt science fiction narrative, memorable characters, charming romance, polished artwork, and carefully structured programming lessons, it creates an experience that is both enjoyable and genuinely informative. It serves as an excellent introduction to C# programming while remaining an engaging visual novel in its own right. Anyone interested in learning the basics of coding through an interactive adventure will find plenty to appreciate, while fans of story-driven games may be pleasantly surprised by how effectively the educational elements enhance rather than hinder the overall experience. Just finished this game, what a blast! I'm not going to lie, some of the puzzles I had to brute force, not because they're poorly designed, I'm just not adept enough to work some of them out. All in all, I had a great time, lovely art, nice music, interesting puzzles and the story is fun too. Do recommend.

I was attracted by the art work and ended up learning some programming! Really surprised myself. The story gets you absorbing some C++ programming very painlessly and before you know it, figuring out secret door codes and other useful stuff. Game ended suddenly so I really hope there is a part 2 because there are unfinished missions to undertake. Hurry up please devs!
The story was fun and kept my interest, the coding problems were challenging enough and the artwork and soundtrack were great. I really enjoyed this game. The only possible problem is that it was not long enough, I finished in 6 hours. I definitely give this a 5 by 5 and I'm keeping watch for more games from prettysmart.
Great music, great art, great story, and great characters! And also a great method to teach C#! After just a few hours I was already excited about how this game would be perfect to teach begginers or to do revision with advanced students. I could write a really long review praising this game, but since most people wouldn't read it you'll have to trust my summary of "great everything" and check it for yourself :3
Short version: If you want either a nice introduction to programming and computer science, or are interested in a cute romance, in a slightly dark background world, this game might be for you. If your looking for a challenging programming puzzler, and don't care about a story, this might not be the game for you. I don't write many reviews, but this game surprised me. I'm an avid programming, logic, and puzzle gamer. I love Zach-likes, and games that have open ended puzzle solutions to optimize. Code Romantic isn't that. I don't remember how I got it, possibly a bundle, or one of my several mass purchases of games in the "programming" category on steam. If I'd have known, or noticed, how beginner oriented this game is, I probably would have passed on it. I'm glad I didn't. This game shouldn't be for me. I should have been bored by it. I have a BS in Computer Science, and this game is a very good introduction, but it should have been too simple for me to enjoy. But I loved it. Maybe I'm just a romantic at heart, but the story and art was super cute and I got really invested in it. The world building and backstories are great, too, when you uncover them. The multiple choice style coding puzzle interface is a great idea, I think it could be useful for actual computer science exams. It allows a person to demonstrate they understand the concepts and language notation without having to memorize every little thing about it. Real world programmers aren't memorizing api functions and use documentation constantly, as well as editors that show issues in syntax as you type. Having a multiple choice interface for coding questions just makes sense. On the steam discussions the dev has said that Code Romantic II is in the works, and I'm looking forward to it. I want to know what's going to happen next, and I'm hoping that the challenge increases as well.
