Cloak and Dasher

Nothing groundbreaking, but this is a very solid platformer for sure. Worth picking up if you're a fan of the genre.

This is a hidden gem, no doubt about it. I havn't played much on steam, but I tested out this game multiple times at conventions. This game is tight, compact, and a lot of fun. It feels great to zoom through levels, and the mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics of the game are all really good. Plus the developer is SUPER kind and listens to people, and is committed to making this game great for everyone. I am happy to have supported him with this game. I don't generally even like time-based platformers, but this game is a great find. Would definitely recommend! Can't wait to see this game get a full release!

really good game and interesting mechanics. I'm not a fan of how the time medals in the levels are done, it feels like you're replaying a level repeatedly just hoping to shave of an extra few milliseconds for the highest medal.

Hecho para los amantes de la repetición y mejorar sus tiempos. Cada nivel tiene una tabla de tiempo con los mejores records, lo que anima a la competitividad. Al ver las imágenes lo primero que se me vino a la cabeza fue el Celeste, sin embargo no son juegos parecidos. Personalmente lo noto muy simple y corto, me gustaría que la cámara fuese más cercana y con niveles más desarrollados. Sin embargo no creo que sea mal juego, si te gusta el tema de mejorar tiempos y plantarte retos de ese estilo entonces te gustará. Found this game at PAX East 2020 and while the game is fairly short, it's one that scratches that platformer itch more than you'd expect. Movement can be a bit "floaty" at times which makes some levels extremely frustrating (Overgrown Ruins level 2 for example has you land in a single tile gap where tapping the movement key isn't enough but pressing it a split second longer has you cascading into the spikes past the gap) but otherwise the game is enjoyable to play and fun to try and improve on your times. Future updates as of writing this review include a hard mode for each level so I can't wait to see what that brings. I'm surprised that the game has had as few sales as it has considering it's price, would highly recommend picking it up if you enjoy platformers
