A very nice (but unfortunately very short) story I would be happy about a second part where the two meet again and can live their love together :)
Clear Skye Thinking is the newest visual novel published on steam by Ebi hime. In it, we are joining on the journey of the main Heroine, that is visiting the island of Skye with her father. I quite enjoy the trip across UK, that Ebi is taking us on, with her novels. Unfortunately, the enthusiasm is not shared, by the protagonists of the story. First poor Lillac and now Alice. They hate it. >.< What I do not hate, are the characters of the story. Starting with the Alice, the main character of CST we can see, that the author put plenty of thought, into creating the actors of this “tragic” (for Alice) play. She immediately caught my interest and didn’t dissuade it, further along the line. Taking into consideration, that the story is not that long (50k words ~4-5h of reading), the protagonists offer quite a bit of depth. They are interesting, unique and they play their role perfectly. The story of this novel is quite simple. If you have already read the synopsis, then you know basically what is going on. It doesn’t however make it bad. I would lie, if I said that the story is mind blowing, or life changing, but it’s without a doubt enjoyable and simply fun. That is what games and Vns are for right? Fun! However, it’s not only thing that Visual novels are. They can also be seen, as a kind of art. And speaking of art (Darn I am really smooth with those transitions); The art of the story is amazing, both character and background artist did phenomenal job. It looks professional and pristine. I really wouldn’t be able to find a thing, to complain, if it comes to visuals. Visuals are one side of thing, but the other are of course music and SFX. Those were really pleasing and I would say, that I can see the improvement across the many VN’s, that the author presented before. All of the above mentioned things blend in perfectly and make the story more enjoyable. Simply putting it’s doing it’s job. Overall the story is enjoyable and well deserving of R:80/100

A great discovery of Skye ! Sceneries are top notch and the artstyle is beautiful. ebi-hime always do a great job at finding talented artists so that they can get more exposure ! I do wonder if Alice and Marnie could be friends ...
👍 Short
Loved reading this; now I want to go to the Isle of Skye :3
When I read the scene where Piper gets dolled up, a throwaway line about sharing foundation (The author says she'll fix it eventually, but this was my experience when I read it.) made me realize that this VN is more interested in the aesthetics of interracial couples than it is about authentically portraying a British Indian woman. That's a little bothersome, but fine by me. I feel like it puts more emphasis in portraying Scotland as a tourist destination with a rich history than either of those things, so it has its priorities and it pulls off those priorities well. It's a cute yuri story with mildly humorous moments. Not so outrageous that it makes me want to scream (Not sure why I'm associating humor with screaming instead of laughter here but the point is that I'm straight-faced.), but it's amusing enough. I like Alice's dresses, and I like how the parent characters not only have sprites, but are visually distinct. That feels like an odd thing to put emphasis on, but I've read ebi-hime VNs where the parents don't have sprites, and I wonder if I think of those characters as less realized because of it. That's mostly a budget issue, so I don't think a VN where not every character is drawn is worse, but I do appreciate what's here. I enjoyed it a lot.

A short but very sweet yuri story. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
I am the gayest girl on the planet
A lovely story. While some heavier topics like bullying are touched on, it is overall a cute, uplifting read. As someone into lolita fashion, the little bits like mentioning brands and such are a nice touch.
